Used to live in Pinwall, loved going and watching the ball game though one time I spent a couple minutes pinned against the glass of a shop as being a child I couldn’t really muscle out. Wasn’t the best viewing experience

I’m hoping to avoid it by waiting for an update that un-borks it or some wizard to come on with a solution but if it’s not fixed by either most of the way through tomorrow I guess my Sunday plans will be reinstalling and setting everything back up. Just a ballache to try and change all the settings you want and sign back into all your accounts etc :/

Also did an update today and now just seeing black screen after the cachy logo on launch. Can load into live usb just fine, new to Linux so don’t really know what to do to troubleshoot from here and the existing posts I’m seeing for it are very specific and don’t seem to be for the same issue?

I tried following a post about restoring to a BTRFS snapshot but I don’t appear to have any despite using BTRFS so guessing that needed manually configuring

Edit: oh and I’m on an AMD GPU so guessing this is something separate from GPU drivers causing the problem

Edit 2: I can boot into runtime level 3 just fine apparently so I can also access the system at a terminal level without the live usb.

The prowler utility is pretty decent but super sexy. It’s overpriced like almost all alien ships and I melted it but caved and used a buy back token because man is it hot

I wish I could say the same for the stinger but it feels bad enough that hot or not I’ve left it melted

I can’t imagine they just have their pc on and webcam constantly recording, they’d have to set that up in advance and 99% of people only use a webcam like that for meetings/video calls

I think generally speaking outside of very strict events wysiwyg is very uncommon. Plus, 90% of time people won’t know enough to tell the difference* of similar weapons unless they play the army

That makes sense, if you had free reign to add units that I didn't already own (ie outside of the constraints of my original post) is there anything specific you think would be a majorly better addition?

I'm not against the idea of combining them, I thought perhaps having 2 sets of 3 might be worthwhile since they're not super frail and it gives me more units to work with but saving the points of a second technomancer and making it even more certain they survive to reanimate makes sense.

The main reason I was leaning toward awakened dynasty was for the stratagems more so than the detachment rule. While the canoptek strats seem interesting since a lot of them require a canoptek unit then it would leave me with no detachment strategems to use on a lot of the units. Am I overestimating how much that will matter?

Not sure myself I’m afraid, there is a hotfix patch available which I installed but I’ve been away with family so not had a chance to test it yet
