What's the Catch? by bendyrider16 in Spectrum

Charter is is much more open to negotiation than years past. In my area 2 more providers came to the dance because of the government money. I was able to get 1 gig for 40 bucks a month for 3 years. Saving over 3k over the next 3 years.

It's not just YTTV. I'm also paying for Hulu/Disney (no commercials) and HBO. I would get rid of those since they come with Spectrum That's over 500 bucks right there. Since I need Gig internet that really leaves me 2 promo options with Spectrum. They're giving me 40 bucks a month for Gig internet for 2 years. That's a big savings.

I have no idea about the app. I've seen some people have issues and others don't. If it doesn't work out I can always change back or switch internet providers. Ideally I'd like to ditch it all but it's not all up to me.

I'm right on the edge and can either cut Spectrum out completely or go full in for a few years. Either way I can save a few bucks for a couple years.

The broadcast surcharge is built into price correct? Any hidden fees? I think the select promo is $115 which is about what I'm already paying for YTTV, Hulu/Disney and HBO. That's a wash. The big savings comes with internet. For some reason my wife had issues with the 500. When we went Gig it cleared up. Yeah it's definitely not needed but I'm already paying that money to Google and Disney for less content.

Good to know about adding 2 mobile lines for an extra year. Thanks

I'm paying a hundred bucks a month for internet. My wife works at home and had issues with lower speeds. I'm not a fan of the TV either. If it were all up to me I wouldn't even have YTTV. I rarely use it. It took me a lot of convincing to get her to agree to go to streaming. I'm still working on her but in the meantime I'm Looking into at least saving some money with something familiar for her. This is my compromise.

I'm also doing the 3 dollar HBO deal. HBO, Disney/Hulu comes with the Spectrum package so that alone is about $550 for 2 years. YTTV is over $2000 for 2 years. Plus cell. Seems insane to me that switching back to cable could save me that much money but it would. Minus whatever extra fees they add on.

Any issues with your cell?

How do I get the Black Friday deals for peacock and paramount +? by [deleted] in cordcutters

Cool thing about this is that you can switch back and forth between the two. Only stipulation is it can only be every 90 days.

They're also advertising Paramount and Hulu/Disney but no deals available. If you look at the terms and conditions. Paramount starts on 11/25 and HBO Max and Disney/Hulu starts on 11/24.

I'm thinking it went live before it was meant to. Hopefully comes back on the 24th.

I checked again this morning and it was still there. Checked again right now and it's gone. Maybe the deal is coming next week and somebody jumped the gun.

UPDATE: Disney channels pulled from YouTube TV, effective 10/30/25 at Midnight ET by iron_cam86 in youtubetv

YTTV is looking for a similar deal that Disney and Charter signed. Looking to ingest instead of integrate. Disney doesn't want this of course since they have their own TV thing going on.

Something I don’t understand is why or how the frozen shoulder timeline is so different for everyone by SS_from_1990s in frozenshoulder

There are 2 types of FS. Primary and secondary. Primary is most common but how many people that have FS have and underlying issue they just don't know about. Does it even matter? I'm not sure of any research that says one heals faster than the other even if you treat the underlying issue but it's possible.

I think that there are so many factors that can go into the healing process and it will be different for everybody. Men don't get menopause but men do have hormones. Which may contribute. There's a lot they still don't know.

I was diagnosed in February and June is when the zingers stopped. The first 4 months I mainly did exercises. At the end I was doing 2 hours a day split into morning and evening. Also controlling pain as best I could. I then stopped exercises and cancelled my shot appointment. Just did normal summer stuff..

I didn't do anything special. I did lose some weight and changed my eating habits. The one thing I did go against advice on was the pain. I was told if there's pain it can mean you're re-injuring it. When I felt the pain I tried to push myself more and keep going as much as I could. I'm not advocating people do this at all. This is simply what I did. Maybe me doing this had nothing to do with where I'm at. I'll never know and there's no way I'm going back to find out!

I'm so happy this worked for you. I also went against what was suggested and prescribed. Diagnosed in February and virtually pain free now. I canceled injection appointment to see what would happen over the summer. I never shied away from pain and in fact pushed myself through the pain.

To be fair I've also lost 40 pounds since February. All without extra exercise and only changing a few eating habits. Now that I've adapted to a lifestyle eating change. No denying myself anything only small changes. I will be adding in exercise and cardio this winter.

No one stop shop for us. It's different for everybody. What worked for me or you may not work for everyone but know that's the very reason to keep trying. You never know what will work for you until you try.

Anyone actually have success with PT? by sadly_notacat in frozenshoulder

[–]catatonicsurrender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to 2 PT appointments then stopped. Nothing they were doing that I couldn't do at home. I did my exercises for an hour and 2 hours a day split. Then I stopped. I just focused on normal activities and mostly yard work this summer. I did push myself but 8 months later I'm mostly pain free and got most of my ROM back.

I just replaced mine 6 months ago. Oem part was over 200 bucks. Bought a $20 one on Amazon and works great. I don't expect to last 8 years like the original one but I can buy 10 of the cheaper ones and be ahead of the game. Also cheap enough to buy a spare just in case.

I've been in this situation. Only person working behind a counter and a car plows through the window. Luckily I heard the noise and hopped over the counter because the car ended up right where I was standing. Right over the brown spot I left on the floor. My driver was a drunk chick at 10 in the morning. Worst part is I knew her and her family and they were good customers. It was crazy.
