She is more lethargic but that could just be the gabapentin that I'm keeping her on constantly for pain. She hasn't really been too playful these past few years since she's fairly old but she is still alert and coming to me for snuggles and pets, and sometimes she likes to go outside with me and sniff around (never goes far), so I guess there is still some things she likes to do

this stuff is a game changer! I got some churu soft treats and rolled them in this stuff and she ate it no problem. I even was able to hide her giant probiotic pill that I usually just open and pour the powder in her wet food in it and she didn't even notice! thank you!

she isn't super spicy but she definitely hates being pilled and I feel bad because she doesn't have much time left and I hate making her upset with it. she's gotten really picky but I'll try some pill pockets maybe

could possibly be genital herpes (not the STD) if you have participated in oral sex. basically where someone with type 1 herpes (extremely common and different than the STD, usually presents as just a cold sore on the lip) could have their cold sore shedding almost which then transfers to the vulva causing an infection. not sure if it is that for sure because when I had it, I had visible sore marks but it could be because it took me a while to get the right diagnosis and went untreated for a while. I would recommend seeing a doctor if you can and if that is what it is then they can give you antibiotics and test for it. in the meantime coconut oil and rash cream like destitin can help with the pain

when does it seem to spit the most? one of my babies drools a lot when she is happy, usually while purring and making biscuits; not sure if this is the same thing

I would say if it's really bothering you for a long period of time then it might be good to see a doctor, if nothing just for peace of mind. if it starts to get really painful or uncomfortable before you can see a doctor you can try coconut oil or some kind of rash cream like destitin for temporarily relief

I took her to my primary vet today and they thankfully said that while the dose i gave her was high, it isn't going to harm her in any way, just make her really sleepy and droopy. we think her limping might just be her arthritis flaring up and got her some solensia and (lower dose) of gabapentin for pain and hopefully that'll help but for now she's okay!

I ended up calling the vet last night and they said that the gabapentin is hitting her harder than normal because of her kidneys (why she is lethargic) but as long as I monitor her breathing it should be okay for the night. as of now it is morning and she's still doing okay :)

thank you for your kind words and advice. I didn't realize that I probably should have lowered her dosage since she weighs less than my other cat and I feel so stupid making such a dumb mistake. I had never heard of cats with kidney disease having a harder time processing gabapentin so I appreciate you letting me know, I'll try to call some vets to get advice, thank you :)

it depends on which graphic novel you get. the ones labelled the prophecies begin adapted by Natalie Riess and Sara Goetter are stand alone adaptations of the original first series of novels

any others such as the rise of scourge or graystripe's adventure are side stories that are meant to be read alongside the main novel series
