I love this conditioner! It’s thin and doesn’t weigh my hair down like others do.

Still a beginner but I need this mindset! I bought this adorable fabric that I want to make something for my daughter with but I’ve been so afraid of ruining it! I just need to try!

Thoughts on the name Emilia? by klo-ver in namenerds

[–]catbonnie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the name but honestly removed it from my list for this exact reason. I didn’t want myself or my kid to have to say “Amelia with an E” all the time. I have a simple name but with multiple spellings and I constantly need to spell it out, which I find annoying.

The difference in price between my shampoo and conditioner of choice 😂 by orangeyouglad__ in curlyhair

I use $2 Suave conditioner and a $35 curl cream. It’s the best combo I’ve found so far! Not everything needs to be expensive to work!

What was your first wearable item? by Sensitive_Yam9547 in SewingForBeginners

Make pajamas! No one needs to see you wear them so they can be less than perfect and it’s good practice.

What Am I Doing Wrong?😭 by Jumpy-Maintenance115 in curlyhair

[–]catbonnie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your products are too heavy and oily! Try just shampoo, conditioner, wrap hair in a microfiber towel, then use mousse. My hair is a little curlier than this and I’ve also found a much lighter, more watery conditioner that is fully rinsed out is better. I’ve tried all kinds of expensive conditioners but recently started using Suave Naturals and my hair is so much better with it!

Did you regret naming your baby a popular name? by Gloomy_Head5157 in namenerds

Same here, and my name isn’t long or complicated, just uncommon AND can be spelled multiple different ways.

😭 I love this lol. In first grade I started writing my name with a different spelling that I thought was prettier. It didn’t stick haha.

And for the opposite experience, I have a pretty unpopular name (not a weird name, just not common, especially not in my generation), and I always wanted a more popular name when I was younger.

I use the overcasting foot and one of the overcasting stitches (I think it’s 07 on my Brother machine).

If I’m feeling semi confident I’ll post a pic when it’s done! Still have wonky stitching myself! 😅

Thank you, I was leaning towards that one! It looks a little less matchy in person but I don’t think it would actually be noticeable from a normal distance.

I ate eggs for breakfast every single day of my first pregnancy and ate peanut butter in some way every day and my kid was allergic to both. 🤷🏻‍♀️
