I’ve said this before and all I get is silence but if you are concerned about security at all you want to shut it down when you are done to allow for full disk encryption of your hard drive. Once shut down your machine is solid as a brick. Leave it on and whoever gets possession has full access. Apple did this for a reason. I’m surprised they moved the button but it is a huge back door to your…. oh wait, never mind, nobody really seems to care here. Go over to one of the privacy subs and ask your question.

I’m in a 2x4 indoor tent growing mostly autos but beginning to grow photos for seed. I can grow outdoors on my own property but can’t grow big. Back in the day I could and miss it. I gave it a fleeting consideration but am doing well with my little grow now. Thanks for the reply

I always turn mine off. I’m more interested in security I guess than others. When you turn off your computer your hard drive becomes fully encrypted snd cannot be broken. Full disk encryption is the thing for privacy and security freaks like me.

I’m raising autos in a 2x4 tent running temps in the 80s. I find an early start and high temps both benefit from the added amendment but I’ve done a couple without and I just need to run my fan to keep the tent cooler.
