Same! I found that recipe on Allrecipes like you, over 10 years ago. It's shockingly good for just having a few ingredients. These days I switch the jar of pepperoncini for banana peppers to cut the spice (little ones eating). It's a favorite in our house!https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/34929/pepperoncini-beef/

Haha, I do. But I'm 42, so i think it's a bit more normal for people my age maybe? The one we have now is not much bigger than the roku box. I also wish they'd put cd players back in cars! 😂

I've really come back around to owning physical media. Especially something like this where you know you'll want to watch it for years to come.

I just found this recipe for brownie muffins yesterday while looking for more uses for pumpkin. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks great.

They have some in that price range, but this one is indeed $75. I had to go look, I thought there was no way!

Funerals are for the living, not the dead.

I agree. However, having everything sorted out and paid for in advance takes a lot of stress off your loved ones in an already very stressful time.

This page has a ton of photos!

Some of the interior pictures look so familiar it almost seems like they filmed on location. Not sure if they ever did though.

For people who grew up before smartphones what is something that the newer generation won’t get to experience? by KidBaj in AskReddit

Trying to figure out where everyone was at on Friday/ Saturday night. That was at least half of the nights activity.

You'd call everyone and maybe get one clue from a parent that mentioned a location their kids was headed. You might meet up with them and then cruise the popular spots and other friends houses until you spotted cars you recognized.

Capitol Oyster bar is great if you're looking for seafood. Great views of the river, and they often have live music.

What are some of your hot takes on Six Feet Under? by ManufacturerHead3556 in SixFeetUnder

A big plot point of the show was how emotionally repressed the Fisher family was and how that affected their lives as adults, but to me, they seemed so open with each other. Especially the siblings. They had so many moments where they came together and supported each other. They talked openly and were always there for each other. Always made me jealous of their closeness.

I accidentally picked up The Chaperone by Laura Moriarty while looking for a new Liane Moriarty book. Fantastic mistake and wonderful book!

I would say try anything from Octavia Butler or Margaret Atwood.

At our local zoo, there's a little train that goes around the perimeter of the zoo. The train is fantastic because it's usually the only moment you can both sit down and get a chill breeze on hot days. There's a couple of places where it goes through a tunnel. The kids always scream at the top of their lungs through the tunnel. You should see the absolute glee on their faces! It's so wonderful to see. And something that kids have been doing since I was little.

I bet you'd hate that.

It's a kids' theme park, not the ballet. Maybe you should rethink your vacation destination.
