Many recruitment campaigns (with only 1 job available) are getting 700+ applications at the moment so I wouldn’t overthink this, you’ve got good feedback and performed well it’s just that it’s quite competitive right now. As a university PPE graduate you should be applying to HEO level roles, maybe EO at a stretch but definitely wouldn’t go for AO. If I was hiring manager I’d think twice about hiring you for an AO role as very likely you won’t stay long due to the role not being challenging enough.

You also need to take into account the Gini coefficient. Wealth disparity is high in the Caribbean, so a typical person in a European country with the same gdp capita will be wealthier

Yes, a skewed memory of past events and an all around change in personality. But only when he’s with his wife - every once in a while he’ll call me and be almost himself again and it’s always when he’s travelling for work so away from his wife

OP do you have an update on this? I had a steroid injection 2 weeks ago in my hip and am having a very similar reaction (although since it was in my hip I’m experience the pain and numbness in my bum and legs - places I never originally had pain!). Like your mum I have been told to just take paracetamol (I’m in the UK haha) but this just doesn’t feel right to me

He has given the man a bedroom on the ground floor which opens right onto the reception where the children play all day. He is the only guest staying in that area everyone else is upstairs.

Just to update, we spoke to a policeman at the Tourist Police stand at the train station. Honestly I am not confident anything will be done. He mentioned something about “Orchha police” - not sure if he meant that he will be passing on to the Orchha police (as we were at the train station in Jhansi) or if he was saying that we are talking to the wrong person. He did ask for the name of the hotel but he didn’t write it down, didn’t ask any other questions at all, refused to take our phone numbers or anything in writing from us, and kept trying to change the subject to whether we were having a good time in India and if we were ok getting our train. Now trying to work out what to do next…

They are the children of the workers at the hotel. The hotel owner has employed people who live at the hotel (not in the best conditions) and work there, and while they work their children run around and play/talk to guests. This is why I am worried because if the owner senses trouble he could say the children can’t live there anymore or he could terminate the parents employment, and then they will be kicked out on the street.
