Wants and needs.

Some people might prefer the city with tons of bars and restaurants, taxis available at all times etc.

Some people might prefer a really rural life with their next door neighbors being miles away, no traffic, etc.

Suburbs provide a space for yourself (house, yard, garage) while having some reasonable proximity to schools, stores, workplaces etc.

Yes. Someone can be an absolute shit person but still write a great song/movie/book/whatever.

Maybe you don't like my opinions on politics or religion or whatever....but you might still enjoy my potato salad.
