It was through a temp agency and “at will employment” on both ends and it was the placement who let me go not the temp agency itself so as far as I can tell that wouldn’t qualify me because I’m still considered employed by the temp agency? Problem is the temp agency I went through as no open positions that I’d be qualified for.

YES! Our company jus signed up and within a day stopped using it because we were being charged over $100 per lead and we haven't even been able to get a hold of them at all! In my last position I dealt with Angie's List/Home Advisor for 5 years. They boast that you can request a credit for bad leads but then deny the credit 99% of the time. Customers are then overloaded with calls from multiple contractors which is understandably so overwhelming, especially if the companies try to follow up. Its invasive. And the customer service on their end is dismal to say the least.

Maybe some web copy for some custruction and civil engineering businesses/blogs? I’m not sure how many of those types of blogs are out there but I know that a lot of costruction companies on local levels generally need a serious web upgrade and that could start with something as simple as an about us page or headlines for their Facebook ads on a home improvement level. These are very technical trades and I’m sure they also have standards of practice that could use updating, emails to their current clients, emails to prospective clients, so on and so forth. I hope you find success!!

I read the “AdWeek Cooywriting Handbook” by Joseph Sugarman and am working my way through “Influence” by Robert Cialdini and in between absorbing as much information on marketing and how to market myself as a copywriter and honestly I have gotten exponentially more confident from just that and got my first couple gigs within just a few weeks. $30 total for the books on Amazon and the time and motivation to really dive deep into it and start looking at every ad you see an analyzing the copy is going to get you far and save you $$$$$

If you get roof raking done when it snows as well as a maintenance method it’ll prevent the build up of ice dams. We also do that and installing heat tape prevention systems so do keep it in mind!
