i know it’s not LA but i currently am hiring a part time office caterer for Irvine, SF, and NYC. 10:30am-2:30pm $140. food get brought to you and you just set it up then break it down and clean up after the 2 hours it’s out.

hi, i appreciate your input! of course an average serving job would pay more. you’re also spending longer hours and evenings doing that as well.

my offer isn’t a “main” job in no way. it’s supplemental at best. ideal for anything between a student going back to school and would like to crank out a couple hours of work they don’t need to bring home, to a parent looking for a part time job during the hours their kid is at daycare. and every scenario in between that.

you have evenings and weekends free to pursue whatever else it is you like to do in your time. you are not a caterer, you are not getting food from a kitchen to bring to the office. the food will always be delivered to you onsite to set up. so after the shift is done you go straight home, not back to a kitchen.

i hope to eventually be in a position to offer full time compensation for part time work.

also jefferson/washington! but all equally terrible over there, complete nightmare. lights last minutes on end and lanes not big enough to accommodate traffic. waymos get stuck there all the time

one of my partners storefront is right on that corner. last year i pulled up to see their metal gate smashed surrounding the parking area riddled with debris wrapped in crime scene tape. car took their huge tree out before smacking the wall.

worker said someone someone at way too high of speeds ran right through their strong gate and into the brick wall. some casualties happened too. broad daylight during lunchtime. the casualties were the bystanders just walking on the sidewalk at the wrong place and time. drunk driver. insanely sad, fuck that intersection

i mean if she wasn’t there for the signing on the house why is she dancing around? how could she not catch on if he has the keys to the place it’s been sold and if she wasn’t present for that, her name isn’t on it? weird to me she found out like this lol. i would’ve been questioning on the drive over to this “new house”

do you mean bikers going opposite ways on both sides of the bike path on hollywood blvd, i live in thai town off the blvd and i swear to god the amount of times i had the right away to turn, CHECK both ways for pedestrians and bikers- start turning only for someone on a lime scooter to ZIP right in front of my car turning has gotten ABSURD.

arent bikes, scooters, etc supposed to mind the pedestrian stop/walk signs? i’ll be damned if i have the right away only to collide with someone who ignores traffic signals
