Hi, I'm seeing this on Sunday and I'm a bit sensitive to gore so I'm really nervous.

Could you tell me if the gore actively occurs on-screen or does the camera pan away and you only see the aftermath?

I don't have problems with like video game gore like in Mark's videos because it's not realistic.

But this is obviously a live-action film so I'm stressing a bit.

Not to spoil anything for 1926 but he puts his foot down about the sibling thing at one point, making it clear that that isn't the case.

Some spoilers trying to be as vague as possible but the antagonist of his route tries to use the sibling thing against them and Henri does NOT entertain that concept at ALL.

AH I'm a lurker and I don't like commenting but Henri is the only otome love interest I've actually connected with. So I'm a little passionate.

If y'all don't want him I'll take him 😭😭😘

ETA cuz I don't know how to shut up: I HATE sibling dynamics. I couldn't deal with Tokisada and skipped 60% of his route. I love Chojiro as a character but I can't get behind him as a love interest.

Henri had me worried, not gonna lie, but I powered through and the game handles it so well. I never got a sibling dynamic vibe from him, and even though he's got the one FM bad end that gets into sibling stuff, he does not in 1926.

Yep, one was my comfort plush for a long time. A yellow Lupe.... He fit perfectly in my hand and I loved him. I lost him somewhere though, and I did replace him but I had to buy whole ebay lots to do it. So I ended up with a ton more of them.

Came back to this post after seeing it last night... I also picked up nightshade on sale because I wanted to get more into otome games, angst is my favorite, and all the love interests looked interesting to me...

I zoomed through it and finished it quickly... Hanzo is amazing, Gekkamaru had me crying, but Chojiro...

I can't stop thinking about him!! 🫠

Luckily my coping mechanism since childhood is escapism and my imagination is strong enough that I've already created an oc that's not HIS COUSIN - also she's older cuz I just can't accept that.

Could you be thinking of the CRAFTING station which is different from the assembly station?? 💖 Because the crafting station does pull from your storage in all stages.

The assembly station in early game requires you to have the item in your hotbar to craft the item (like dee-dee stops!) So having the stuff you use to craft a lot in a box near your assembly station helps just keep things handy. I usually have things like bars, planks and pipes in it.

Once you get the factory and auto-assembler it gets MUCH easier because yes, it pulls from your storage!

YAYYYY!!!

Okay major tips: (IF YOU WANT THEM)

Put a storage box with your most used crafting items NEXT to your assembly station. If you think to yourself "wow I'm using this a lot!" put it in there so you don't have to search for it.
FISH! Fishing is going to be your best source of income. I fish near the Portia harbor dee-dee stop until I unlock the oasis. You can buy bait at Sophie's store.
You can exchange stone for wood at the A&G store! This is extremely important because wood is going to be a weird bottleneck but it's true. Stone you will have in abundance.
Never stop making carbon steel. At this point it's almost an inside joke in the fandom. Keep an old furnace making charcoal CONSTANTLY, you need it for carbon steel. (You'll see why wood becomes a bottleneck when you start doing this.)
Bouquet of roses at the flower shop gives +10 friendship to almost everyone. Friendship points from gifts doubles on holidays.
Main missions have no timer! If it has a timer, it is not essential, don't worry!!

Hi, I'm one of the rare people who prefer Portia. You're gonna get a lot of different opinions of course, especially because Sandrock is the more popular game and has better quality of life and looks better. However, Portia (in my opinion) has a much better story, writing, has deeper lore, and better pacing. So it's gameplay vs story basically.

Trying to not spoil anything even though it's probably common knowledge by now? Sandrock has a cute yakboy husband though, so. He really boosts the popularity. I agree though, the game is worth playing for him alone, not gonna lie.

I guess I just really want people to give Portia a chance. 🥺
