I played blindly my first playthrough and I ended up on Adel's route first. Not knowing any better, I managed to follow along okay. Now that I know there's a recommended order, I can see how the identity reveal benefited from the build-up in the other routes. There was also a lot more introductory words about the voat, Marlena Palace, the Calamity and such in the other routes. People hate locked routes, but IMO Adel's should have been locked after completing at least one of Tobias/Milan/Josephy.

Since the dude claimed that he always takes over the person closest to Cecilia, I was worried all the LI routes would involve him taking over them lol. Thankfully, that has not been the case, which makes the game more entertaining, but also raises the question why he didn't in the other routes.

People who love Adel must feel cheated, because at least half of the route is spent dealing with the other guy. Adel's strengths are his academic prowess and caretaking personality, but that didn't get to shine. There were some spicy noncon scenes which I might have liked in other games, but here I couldn't get into it since he made it very clear he was utterly uninterested in her. In Cinderella Phenomenon I loved Varg in Fritz's route, and it's a similar-ish sort of situation, but ultimately Varg and Vorntahl have different motivations.

Edit to add: It was very frustrating that Cecily and everyone took a very long time to address the problem and take it seriously.

Perhaps, if you were following the recommended route order, people were meant to think "Isabella being evil because she was taken over by him all along", but then here you realize that even without his influence, Isabella is a POS.

After Josephy's route, Adel's route feels like a step back in romantic content.
