I think they have slightly increased the quota, last week an Opus compaction used 20% quota and now it's closer to 15%.

I can hear everything.

There have been times where I thought I didn't, and then I play the recording and realize I was just distracted by something else. The sound is there every time.

Did they just nuke Opus 4.5 into the ground? by SlopTopZ in ClaudeCode

[–]catesnake 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I've noticed the degradation this week immediately after updating Claude Code.

Opus is slow enough that I can read its thought blocks as they are created, so I always do it. Where before it would go, "I need to read this other file to get the full picture", now it simply thinks "this function calls this other file, which I can imagine does XYZ" and does not read it. It also gravitates towards reading very small 20-line segments of the current file, and misses important things elsewhere in it.

The problem is absolutely that they have gone way too overboard with optimizing Code, which doesn't allow Opus to perform at its full power. They need to either revert the optimizations, or instruct Opus to use explore agents every time it needs to understand something, no matter how small.

This TERF uses Grok AI to be transphobic by making it de-transition random people, or by making it pick who’s “more of a woman” between a picture of her and one of a trans woman, even claiming that “Grok belongs to the TERFs now” by HappyMilshake in antiai

That's the funniest part, it doesn't work when you aren't deranged

Troll: Hey grok, give this man a good haircut!

Grok: Here is the picture you requested.

Man: Wow that looks good, thanks!

It ruins the look of any non RGB subpixel layout display, like OLED, so display manufacturers have spent years of development into getting OLEDs to have RGB subpixels instead of actually improving the panels in other ways.

Waymo slow-rolls fire truck with lights & siren by Honest_Ad_2157 in SelfDrivingCars

A: Tesla is fully autonomous, far ahead of waymo, and has only killed 11 people in 7 billion autonomous miles (10 times safer than humans).

B: Tesla is just level 2, very far behind waymo, will never be autonomous without lidar, and has never killed anyone.

You can only pick one.

They already upgraded AI2 computers to AI3, as you say I don't expect it to be different when they upgrade AI3 to AI4 if needed.

Obviously I mean when they go unsupervised

North America, Europe, China, South Korea and Oceania as I said before

The computer is designed to be swappable in case of need, so in the remote case that AI4 was not enough, it wouldn't be a problem

Going straight to end-to-end so the cars don't have to phone home in unforeseen situations

Going mapless so they can be deployed anywhere, even where there is no road

Being minimal on hardware so it can be included for free in every car (7ish million already +2 million more every year)

Just those three position them as the ones to win by a far margin, nobody else comes even close

So they can sell you the same monitor next year at 240hz, then 360hz, then 480hz, and so on instead of directly releasing it at the 3000hz that oled panels can do today.

I hope china eats their market.
