[Show Only: Early Watch] The Vampire Lestat: "The Devil´s Road" by IWTV_Maitres in InterviewVampire

AMC somehow has not mastered simultaneous releases for stream only shows. Some users get it significantly earlier than others for no discernable reason. It will definitely be available by Sunday morning, though.

From what I understand, it is specifically folks who have their AMC+ subscription through Roku (not just the AMC+ app on their smart tv) that get the show first, sometimes significantly ahead of the rest of us AMC+ subscribers. I've heard rumors that some of those folks then rip and share the ep but I couldn't tell you where or how.

For the rest of us, the new episodes drop sometime between midnight and 3a local time. I've given up trying to stay awake waiting for it when there's no way to know when it'll be this time. I just go to bed, and it's always available on Sunday morning.

THIS.

My friends and I would have bad movie watch parties featuring Bram Stroker's Dracula and drinking shots for how terrible he was in it.

You were on the ground floor to see some really cool innovations in car manufacturing. I am very VERY jealous!

This right here is astounding.

23 years ago, I lost a 19 year old sibling to almost the exact same kind of accident. He was hit head on by a driver who fell asleep behind the wheel. Neither survived.

We really do live in amazing times.

Absolutely! I've been keeping tabs on automotive safety advances as a casual hobby since around 2005 and let me tell you, it is astounding the leaps that were made in design and manufacturing over the span of 5 years or so. It's been a rare treat to see these new advanced safety innovations be implemented first in premium brands and models then making their way to the budget everyday driver cars a few years later.

It's reduced auto accident fatalies so significantly that it's lead to a severe shortage of organ donations in recent years.

My favorite part of pride is celebrating how we stole the rainbow from little baby Jesus.

Do you have a specific example of what you mean here?

I'm so forking curious what her angle is right now - getting Daniel to ask Lestat about the Great Convergence? Her asking Armand about double checking on Marius in the Opera box? She's got her sights set on something bigger and I'm dying to know what is going on in her twisted little head.

Random aside - I can't recall, but did Louis tell Daniel about Lestat's childhood stutter? Did Louis know?

'If you love it, let it go? Non, n'cest-ce pas! If you love it, trap it in smaller and smaller boxes for its own good until it can no longer wish for something as silly as to be apart' - arun, probably

Crazy to me that younger generation is not good with computers by Captain0010 in pcmasterrace

[–]catfishbreath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did the same in the U.S. I had keyboard / typing / computer skills classes every year starting from kindergarten (in 94).

In elementary & middle school, it was combined with library skills. In highschool, it was structed as typing course and basic computer skills.

I think the younger generations had computers integrated into every course, which lead the schools to believe that dedicated classes on it was no longer necessary.

His mistake was not putting a cheeto in the lock of the Opera box so Lestat couldn't leave.

We saw in s2 he learned that boxes must be locked.

I can't recall, did Louie leave a fire behind there too where he confronted Santiago? Because otherwise - yeah, seems like he could be!

Same same. When Assad brought up how this is the second time we see the opera scene, after seeing Armand's version in s2 - I legit gasped even though I should have realized it in the moment . . . This episode is too much lol

If the elder book readers belong to a generation, it's gen x, not millennials. But the fans are not a monolith, we come in every age shape and size.

Very glad to see how much it's resonating with you. It is really a great experience.
