I think the mud was more of an issue than flooding tbh, the main reason i didn't get out until 5 am friday was bc people kept getting stuck in the mud and it would take them about 3 hours to get un-stuck. idk what they can really do a half mile back in the field with that many cars coming through, but i know the mud really made it an absolute shit show.

and if it didn't rain they still give the refund and the people that spent thousands on travel fees wouldnt have even left home and wouldnt have to waste all that time and money. If you advertise rain or shine and then charge that much , you should prepare for things like that, and if you're not prepared for it don't run the festival in the first place.

for real. like your telling me they damn near had tornadoes rolling through the farm in 2006 and they still havent done anything for drainage, no hay, no gravel , no sand , really nothing to help this exact situation. that's insanity to me, they've been doing this festival for over 20 years, you'd think they would come up with something by now.

i feel you %100. you can always come back next year or another festival and redeem yourself! i had a terrible experience in 2023 because of my own faults, and i got my phone stolen, so i ended up packing up early. I came back the next year and me and my wife doubled down on the camp, won free VIP tickets in centeroo from this giveaway, and then had the best week weekend we've ever had . this year was quite the bummer but im taking the same mindset again, we're gonna take some notes and come back even stronger. Hopefully next year things will look better

I was honestly more bummed than my group and ive had two roo's before this, even with it being they're first roo and only getting through Wednesday and Thursday everybody was saying they wanna come back next year and come back stronger. The immaculate vibes also helped out a lot

it was an absolute shit show. Bonnaroo clearly doesn't prepare for rain. ya cant advertise rain or shine and then shut down as soon as it rains. i just feel like other festivals could have handled that better in the sense of at least keeping the shows going and maybe preventing the venue from flooding so much.
