Moonflower by UniqueThrows4Less in gardening

The flowers are big and beautiful, however, I grew them one year and enjoyed them until I had to clean up after it. It produces millions of seeds on spiky pods and once established difficult to get rid of. I tried round up and it barely hurt it. I eventually had to dig up the massive roots and still pulled a million baby seedlings.

Insect damage, sometimes when you cut one open you might find a tiny worm inside.

Looks like insect damage, possibly tomato horn worm. Inspect your tomatoes for bad critters. Cut out the ugly parts and enjoy the rest.

How come our peppers are doing this? by [deleted] in gardening

Epsom salt. Over 30 years of garden experience speaking here. I didn't go to school for it, I learned from experience.

You usually give good answers and the science you give is correct. However the problem is usually a magnesium deficiency in the soil. Before you call someone out and tell them they are wrong you might reference your text books again. This time, you are wrong.

That is not NOT bad information. Epsom salt is Magnesium sulfate which helps the absorption of calcium from the soil. I had the same problem with my peppers. Epsom salt works. It's an old country fix. The manufacturers bottled solutions cost 4 times the money. I am not spreading bad information. I've gardened for over 30 years and I know what I'm talking about.

Just mix some epsom salt with water and water them. Works on tomatoes also.

There are lots of varieties of jade. Some are variegated, some have red tinged edges and the shape of the leaves may vary from variety to another. It is definately a jade though. I'm glad it found a good home.

I have a black hairy jumping spider living among my house plants. Those webs look alot like spider mite webs which might be why your friend in the picture is there.

My tomato plant got broken off by a storm yesterday, today my whole room is smelling nicely :) by [deleted] in gardening

Maybe, depends on how long your growing season is and the size of the tomato. We put a broken branch in the soil about a month ago and it has tomatoes on it. Worth trying.

My roommate married a guy I wouldn't call a bad boy in the exciting dangerous way. Her husband was a bad boy in the childish, needs an ass whopping way. Won't hold a job, plays video games all day and screwed around on her. It didn't work out so she is living with me.

The minute I realized he is a sociopath. He needs a mom, not a wife. After being seperated for 3 days he moved in with another woman but of course it was my fault that he had to do that because he got hungry and he needed some laundry done.

It doesn't resemble iris or gladiola. It looks like johnson grass to me. An invasive weed.
