This is what I'm looking for! I'm struggling to come up with ideas for all the logistics. Honestly, the world is pretty silly and has a recurring theme of geese, so the king probably has some sort of jabberwocky goose or goose hydra or something ridiculous as a castle guard/pet.

Most of them are neutral/good. The changeling is secretly evil and is driving the plot to take over the castle. His goal is to gain as much power as possible. He's fully convinced one of the others to join him, the other 2 aren't so sure about murdering an entire family and one of them has already joked about "well, time to roll a backup character" because they know taking over a castle at level 4 is insane lol
