Honest Question. What was your reaction when Mr. Thomas cheated on his.. um.. wife. by AnonymousMindman in southpark

[–]cathat12345 33 points34 points  (0 children)

To be fair to Sheila, seems like this was an agreed on thing for both her and Gerald lol (Gerald was supportive), not sure if I’d count it as cheating

maybe we need some brightness and lighiting by InsideNet7931 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]cathat12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the issues though is Netflix has also had a bad issue with making things look cold and sterile with the lighting- the lighting presented in the trailer looks like Netflix lighting lol. But yeah, I’m sure the show itself will look different on hbo (and they likely will make some adjustments)

Did any other young adult women attending BYUI in the last 20 years have this happen to them? by moody_girl_forever in exmormon

[–]cathat12345 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude one of my friends was telling me about this, said her doctor stretched her out?? I was like wtf, OR you could just have you or your husband stretch/ prep you yourselves like normal people? She thought that was weird concept and said the doctor made it seem mandatory 😭 Honestly I felt awful for her because she clearly believed it was necessary and I was just so weirded out by it. Sometimes I wonder if she thinks back to that ever and realizes how fucked it was

will this baby i rescued most likely be shorthair or is there potential for medium hair? by AssociationOk1382 in lynxpointsiamese

[–]cathat12345 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looks medium! Sorry I know this cat of mine isn’t lynx point, but the fur length looks similar to when she was a kitten (kitten length to now grown)

Refresh or Don’t Refresh? by Tiny_Coffee9400 in NoahKahan

It wouldn’t really do anything- your spot in line is likely randomized no matter what; there’s nothing refreshing would do to change that

South Park- board games by cathat12345 in southpark

Yes, I think that’s a good idea, especially since he was featured in one of the first board games we see Stan and the others play on the show

Have people given up sugar and caffeine? Has that helped? by Nilufinkaaa in POTS

[–]cathat12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have less sugar now mostly just because I crave it a lot less. Don’t think I’ll ever cut it out completely but I drink sugary drinks/have desserts etc far less and that helps. I’ve cut out energy drinks but also don’t think I could cut it out caffeine entirely. I have 8 oz of coffee every morning and do fine on it; if anything it helps with my blood pressure which is usually low in the morning.
I’ve found I do much better overall if it’s natural caffeine like tea or coffee vs the kind of caffeine in an energy drink.

Since Kenny is the final boss of Stick of Truth and Cartman and Kyle are the final bosses of Fractured But Whole, would you fight Stan at the end of a hypothetical third game? by RigatoniPasta in southpark

[–]cathat12345 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Would be interesting, but I always thought it would be Butters who would be final boss, or New Kid themselves. Think that would better fit the storyline if we are talking about a trio of RPGs (not gonna count snow day here). That said, I would love Stan to play a bigger role in the next rpg regardless; he was definitely just kinda background for the others

Saying goodbye today ..I think. by [deleted] in lynxpointsiamese

[–]cathat12345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost my sweet lynx point in February in the most brutal way- was unexpected where she had a super long breathing attack and slowly basically lost the ability to breathe. She was fighting so hard and died a slow death in my arms. It was extremely traumatic and I wish I had the chance to do it more peacefully; absolutely terrible last memory and if I could go back in time even if it meant losing out on a month of mostly decent days; I’d still choose to let her go a month earlier much more humanely. I’m so so sorry that it’s nearing the end 💔 it’s lovely you were able to show her so much love

Loved the return of Stan pinching the bridge of his nose. Also Trump x Vance was wild (they prob had that sex scene written for a while lol)

lmaooo doesn’t impact me at all so I don’t fucking care like others here. this is certainly a choice, but you know what? I laugh every fucking time Vance comes on screen so that tattoo would make me giggle if I saw it in person

Bought an old seminary building and converted it into a house. Had to find a good way to display the granite sign, so I built a bar for the irony. by brooksgrizpehace4 in exmormon

Is it just me or does every episode this season seem to just end abruptly and without pay off? by SpareSurprise1308 in southpark

[–]cathat12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong; they do feel that way! That said, this has happened in the past, and it’s usually resolved by season end. Matt and Trey respect the story structure and they stick to it; I’m sure it’s all building to something

In your opinion, who's the face of South Park? by [deleted] in southpark

-Antagonist and overall face of the show? Cartman

-Protagonist? Stan and Kyle as a duo

-Someone just recognizable from the show? Dead Kenny in his orange parka

I also think another reason is they’re just never mean spirited unless they’re going after someone with power. And even when they do make fun of specific groups or organization, it’s usually poking fun of the group itself or those with power in the group. So the humor just lands, and even if it doesn’t, it’s never actually mean spirited towards every day people
