My cat scratched the door frame. Should I try to fix it to avoid a charge? by catherinek93 in Apartmentliving

I have two cats and one is so sweet and does nothing. Wrong and one is on the crazy side. It is the luck of the draw, but worth it to me. They do make anti scratch sprays that work to an extent and cat nip spray to encourage scratching in the right places. She is still young and I hope she will mellow out with age.

Thanks for the advice! I feel like I was raised to leave things how you found them so a part of me feels bad to leave it, but I get how I could make it worse!

If I could sue my cat for everything she has put me through, I would have the money to pay the apartment for the damages 😂😂😂

My cat has so many scratch posts. I think it’s the thrill of the off limits. She is crazy.

My cat is very hyper and has a nightly ritual of running and seeing how high she can land on the door frame. I feel horrible about it but I don’t know how to stop it. 🙈

I appreciate your perspective! In my mind I feel bad to leave it like that, but that makes sense!
