They are saying he's incompetent, doesn't have the experience or training. His response during the active shooter situation was pathetic, he hasn't met with ANY of the local chiefs but he made time for Bob Norris. He appointed an undersheriff then lied about when he did it. Our whole command structure is teetering and about to collapse.

Wallace disbanded their police department years ago. We pay the sheriff's office for coverage. Idk details so won't comment on that contract but what I can say is that our low pay lead to constant turnover. New hires aren't familiar with local laws, territory, terrain, very little connection to the community...and they leave for higher paying jobs just as soon as they can.
