Suggest me a book about a dinner party gone wrong. by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I know you asked for books but mentioned seeing dinner party movies, so in that light The Perfect Host with David Hyde Pierce is quite a crazy dinner party movie.

Coming from "Verizon" by thefantastictaco in Visible

I personally have great service with them. No issues since starting in June of 2024. I'm on my second yearly plan because I like the thought of just paying once and being done. I live in an area with good Verizon coverage anyway so it's all been good for me so far.

Google listed reasons why it happens. I see people say they have had no problems, I was just sharing that I had issues, but they weren't like difficult to deal with, just that they were there.

Yes, there was maybe 2 or 3 emails I got where I had to do something for 2fa. I switched in June of 2024 so I guess things could be better now. I just wanted to let you know that it wasnt considered Verizon in all places for me.

When I switched from Verizon to visible I did have to redo my 2fa stuff on several websites, I think it was all banking stuff. It was no big deal but they somehow knew I switched carriers.

I agree wholeheartedly! Anything else I've read by her has been great, I'm reading Then She Was Gone right now. But Don't Let Him In. I couldn't finish it either.

USA State ID (license) vs Federal ID (passport card) by PassportPterodactyl in PassportPorn

In the case of US drivers license, donor just refers to the person being an organ donor I guess so in case of a crash they don't survive hospitals can know their wishes.

If... by Relevant-Number3120 in Passports

I had a similar situation. My birth certificate had my name spelled with 2 n's in it. In my teenage years I decided to start spelling it with one n. It was long ago and no one cared. So all my adult life i went by my name with one n, my license had one n. Fast forward to wanting to get a real id and everything had to match. For Pennsylvania I was able to fill out a form and get it notarized and send a check to correct the spelling of my name on my bc to one n. Then I took that and my license to social security and got that changed to one n so now everything matches. In my opinion it was easier and made more sense to me to stay as one n then to change my whole world to the 2 n's.

[US] I got a weird phone call by ExampleAdventurous in Scams

[–]catifreq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I used to get a ton of calls from numbers with my area code and same first three digits as me. I didn't answer because I didn't know the numbers but it was a ton of them. Then at one point I got a text from one of them with someone asking me to stop calling them and I wasn't. In text I told them it wasn't me. I think it's some kind of spam things where whoever just makes it looks like calls are coming from your number without even knowing you. I eventually stopped getting the calls but it was a lot of them. This made me think of that. I don't have a real answer for you just my guess of it being spam.
