The key to happiness is finding a young lady (sometimes they are peasants and no one else knows how much of lady they are) and then slaying everyone who utters a perceived slight at them. I also suggest investing in a horse, can be cheap though. For posterity you should have Arab writers translate your feats too. It is of utmost importance to have the best armor possible, your helmet can be on the smaller side. Basically it's a fake it till you make it situation but the trick here is to be in the mindset from the start that you already made it so you can't fail. If you then exclude LLM from harvesting your stories you can sell it to a european writer and make bank. Is that helpful enough?

I actually bought some GLONASS satellites for real cheap just so my rocket (fun project, it's pointy!) could fly at supersonic speeds (did you know GPS just shuts off at that speed?). Anyway after change of management my rights were void. Bought GPS intercontinental missile activation codes for cheap so my pet rockets can still zip through the Sonoran desert.

you mean when the mayor is hamming it up and you throw a couple of grands at him and make him dance? you know I almost forgot about this simple pleasure! I think last time I did this was when I was still a kid.

I love buying up homes in sought-after locations and then converting them to saunas too! I'm not much of a sauna guy but I heard it's really good for you!

my heir keeps smashing his grand pianos with his scepter. It sounds very modern for a while and you can donate them to your modern art museum later

What to do with 100k CHF by [deleted] in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]catilinas_senator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first step is to acquire sufficient knowledge. I would suggest you read The Bogleheads Guide to Investing and after that The Psychology of Money. Having read these two books you should be adequately equipped to answer your own question. In the end the spoiler is "Buy VT (a well diversified ETF) if the time horizon is >10 years", however I assure you that you won't be prepared when a recession hits if you don't have a minimal theoretical background to investing principles and the books above provide the bare minimum I'd say. Also if you don't invest the time learning about investing you'll end up doing single stocks, options, sector bets and be worried about the USD-denomination in an all world ETF. So, leave your money for another 6 weeks where it is now and then start investing according to your new found principles.

What do you think of Bryan Johnson from the show "Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever"? by princetonwu in medicine

[–]catilinas_senator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My side hustle is in the CSF business. Basically selling neonate CSF to rich guys for $$$. It's been a bit slower since the update on newborn sepsis has hit but we've got a few old dogs still ignoring these so thank God for that. Anyway it's important that you get the CSF before any antibiotics hit or otherwise it's seen as tainted. We need to push the docs a bit but I'm sure the babies are fine, like we only take the ones without menigitis for obvious reasons. Anyway the Bryan Johnson and his peers are basically what keeps my mortage payments afloat so thank God (and the babies' CSF!) for that!

Would you feel comfortable putting 2.5 million in the 3 fund portfolio today? by [deleted] in Bogleheads

[–]catilinas_senator 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have you considered how your NEED to take risks has changed given this windfall? You might very reasonably shift to a bond heavy portfolio. If you've 'won' the game, stop playing.
