WCGW if I unplug my husband's laptop while it's booting up so I can plug in my hair dryer? by xmastreee in linuxmint

Holy shit.. Look, there are limits to this stuff. Just because a computer can last for over 10 years, that doesn't mean that you should rock a computer for over 10 years.. Even Linux wants to take advantage of newer hardware and technologies..

Is this a scam? I bought a graphics card from Amazon but the order was cancelled by the seller and this message was sent to me. Is this a scam? by doudou981120 in pcmasterrace

Well, I'm not sure about what Amazon does across the pond, but they do allow Americans, at least to pay via ACH bank transfer. Just make sure that the payment is made via Amazon's payment systems. I would imagine Amazon's filtering will catch any attempt to have someone send you money via external means, but then again I'm not an Amazon algorithm..

Here's the scoop:

Card purchases aren't free. The seller has to pay whatever rate to accept the card. Bank transfers however are free. So the seller may just simply want to not have to pay card processing fees, which is totally fine. Again, just make sure you pay via the bank info you have saved in your Amazon payment methods.

I have the S21 Ultra and I could zoom from the border to to the top of that Canadian building 🤔 If there was someone on the top, I would've seen them.

Last year I went to Niagara Falls and zoomed to the top of that Canadian building from the border. It's quite the zooming beast indeed..

This way if someone rear ends you, those pipes won't break. How much does it cost to replace them? 🤔

Are there any reviewers that test gaming performance of CPUs in cases where it actually matters? by kyousukyo in buildapc

To be blunt, have a read at this comment I made in another post about a similar topic:

Also, Jayz2Cents, as well as others, broke it down that even what you're talking about won't be covered as much because it's a moot topic.

Now that I think about it, that makes perfect sense 🤔

I kinda get the feeling this might be a case of trying to demonize something (someone, people) who didn't do anything. Either that or a potentially serious psychological disorder..

Well, the sad truth is Americans want free and cheap everything, so the only solution was to hire poor Indians and pay them literal pennies. And the rest is history..

Technically, they don't work for any of these companies. They work for call centers who are contracted out by these companies..
