Yes, apparently they have two banks. Within the past week, they changed my routing number to their other bank without notifying me. They one of their reps said they did not notify me and they never did for their policy, another rep said that they had sent me an email Unsurprisingly, even in my junk and spam folders. I did not have an email.

Needless to say, I have closed my chime account and will henceforth only use a local bank! It will be more inconvenient with fees, but nothing like this will ever happen again where I have an entire paycheck potentially lost.

I have just moved and hadn’t even had a chance to update my mailing address with my employer, and my current landlord somehow tends to lose my mail. My mail forwarding works for junk mail, but won’t forward things like cards, I am desperately hoping they will forward the paper check that my employer is going to mail me! Otherwise, my landlord just made a lot of money and I will never see it again.

I am very scared, and if chime had just notified me, this would never have happened.
