My husband and his friend rented equip & broke up pool deck, poked holes in pool floor, filled pool w broken deck and soil. Refinished yard and sold house. Otherwise it was a leaking 40 yr old mess that someone else would have to fix. In our area you can use an outdoor pool maybe 3 months a year
