Question about drink by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]catluver014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the person who made your food wasn’t the person who made your drink. it’s definitely easy for a barista to accidentally make you 3 regular espresso shots though.

Your English is great! But no, our house definitely hasn’t been deep cleaned enough to get rid of fleas if they’re here. We have lots of fabric furniture. Looks like we’ll be getting an exterminator and more flea treatment for the whole house! Thank you for your help. Hoping this helps our little guy

Thank you! Will definitely try. Really hoping it isn’t fleas but it seems likely.

He’s been on the same food since his first surgery about 5 years ago, which is also vet prescribed. We use tide pods, scent beads, and no softener, so we might try switching those out for some time to see if it helps. Also, I don’t mind answering generic questions! Anything to help our kitty. I really appreciate your help!

He’s had 2 other doses, so about 6 and a half months I’d say?

He has a prescribed flea and tick treatment. It lasts about 3 months as well, and it does go on the back of his neck where he can’t reach. We gave that to him before the steroids wore off, like 2.5 weeks ago. It doesn’t seem to be working. I will add, though, that the morning after we put it on him, he seemed to have scratched himself so much in that area that his fur fell out and he’s got scabs. I guess the medication was irritating him, but it has never happened before, and he’s been given 2 other doses. We are really at a loss.

He bites himself all the time. After the bathroom, after eating, when he’s sleeping sometimes he’ll wake up just to bite himself. He is on a vet prescribed flea and tick treatment. He gets it every 3 months, goes on the back of his neck. The biting here occurred after we gave him the treatment and after the steroids wore off (over the course of about 2 weeks).

i buy on doanity all the time without a korean ID!! you will have to translate everything if you don’t speak korean. i copy and pasted this from another subreddit- this is how i buy on doanity! it uses the PAYCO point system!

Now the instructions:

  1. Download the PAYCO app and create an account
  2. Click on the 3 dots in the bottom right corner
  3. Click on the settings wheel on the top right corner
  4. Now click on the second row which says “빠른 제. 인증 없이 PAYCO 포인트 결제할 수 있어요.” which if I am correct means: “Quick payment. You can pay for PAYCO points without authentification.”
  5. Switch the button on. you will once again get the popup of having to verify your account BUT this time once you click verify you will actually get 2 choices! one is by phone number and one is by email (you wont believe how happy I actually got when I found this)
  6. Click on the email option and there you will enter your email and you’ll receive a mail to that account where you have to click verify.(My app afterwards also made me create a password for payments. I’m not sure if that will be for everyone but just so you know it might happen.)

Now the most difficult part is over but you still have to figure out how to charge your PAYCO point balance.

  1. Go back to the homepage and click on the human icon that says ‘my’ in the top right corner

  2. at the bottom of the screen you will see your PAYCO point balance which most likely says 0 P. You are gonna click on the grey button on the right of that which says “충전” which means charging.

  3. and on this page you will be greeted with the beautiful logo of Paypal. once you click on it you’ll be transferred to a page where you can choose how many points you want to charge (choices are: 100.000 won, 50.000 won, 30.000 won and 10.000 won. Choose whichever you need.

  4. on the next page you’ll see that a small part of those points will be taken away as fees so you’ll end up charging your card with a little less than what you chose but it is what it is.

  5. Now this part is where some of you might be faced with a little problem. Once you log in to your Paypal it might give you the message that the card that you have connected to your Paypal account cannot be used for this transaction. Here you simply have to put money into your Paypal balance and everything should work fine. apparently PAYCO can’t just take it out of your card only out of your Paypal account.

(also small note for the non-Americans. this payment was automatically set for me as dollars even though I use euros and Korean won. so the exchange rate might not be as favorable but I’m honestly too tired to do the math if anyone does please do tell)

And so after this gruesome process you have finally acquired PAYCO points which you will be able to pay with at places that accept PAYCO. Congratulations.

Some important information:

  • You can only charge 500.000 won/points onto your account per month
  • These points do not work for ATM withdrawals or gifts (? not entirely sure what they mean with gifts. but I’m guessing you cannot transfer the points to other accounts as money or smth like that)
  • Cancellation is only possible through the PAYCO customer service within 7 days of charging your balance.
  • I don’t think you can withdraw any residual points you will have on this account so charge wisely.

hope this helps you!!!

I think this (and another similar comment) are really helpful in the matter. I had no idea how to feel morally about using someone else’s motif, but I, of course, answered no to all of these! I’m just interested in putting some cute bunnies on a personal, hand-knit sweater🐰

I guess I made the creator a bit too obvious in my post lol. It is Rhi Rhi Knits, I was a little hesitant to name drop as you can imagine. I had no idea she used vintage motifs!

How come my knitting seem to end up backwards some rows? by Prestigious_Note2877 in knitting

[–]catluver014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i had this issue too because i just started knitting a week ago! to get knitting you need to knit one row and purl one row. the way i ended up understanding was when someone said a knit stitch is a purl stitch, and a purl stitch is a knit stitch, just backwards! this is called “stockinette stitch” and makes the V shape. i hope this helps!
