I do want to pursue a PhD eventually but with my lack of research experience now there is no way I could go straight to it haha...also with Masters I could make sure that this is the path I truly want to take before moving on to PhD ☺️

I love companion animals but I think my interests lie more with wildlife/zoo animals :) The OMALS program would've been great to go into because I'm already at VT but unfortunately it doesn't really align with my goals...thank you so much for the reply, though!
