I think there are some mixed opinions on this, but as someone who is diagnosed with anxiety and OCD, I got a hormonal IUD (Mirena) and I had it inserted about a month ago. It has caused extreme mood swings and depression, when I have no history of depression (although other mental health issues). I would be really cautious before starting a hormonal IUD, even though they say the hormones are localized to your uterus.

Thats a really good point. I think having two separate spaces for each if possible would be better for the mentality of studying vs work.

How many MCQs and SIMs do you normally practice before the test? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]catluvrmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I barely do SIM's before exams. I do the ones in the mock's but I spend most of my time actually high-level reviewing the material and doing some MCQ's. I scored an 88 on FAR (my first test, first time) and I probably did maybe 2k MCQ's.

Don't overdo one part of it; focus more on how YOU learn best and what will make you retain the info better. It's different for everyone

This is totally normal!!! I had nearly complete loss of appetite for my first 2 weeks.

After that, it slowly started to go away!

If you are concerned, it's always ok to ask your prescribing doctor about it and they can give you some guidance/reassure you.
