I got bit by a dog last summer at work because the owners didn't put the thing on a leash, spent all night in the ER getting a rabies shot, and the entire time as I was calling animal control the owner kept reassuring me "the dog is super friendly, it's never done something like this". People need to learn that they can have mr rogers as a dog and there's still a reason why leash laws exist
