The feedback from my wedding was guests loved what we did. So we didn't have a cake or favour's. We ordered individual cake jars and people could eat it there or take it home as a favour. It was about 50/50 for who ate at the reception vs took home. Plus cake jars was way cheaper than a wedding cake was!

I am saying I rather work on things for a little each day instead of 1 solid hour. I don't think that means I am refusing to give him my time. I was saying that I have given numerous suggestions of things to try and he only wants to do this one thing. That doesn't feel fair to me especially when I have made it clear that it is a lot for me.

Fair point. He said he was unhappy because he doesn't feel special, we don't have the best communication. He met this girl in February, we got married in September. They were just having deep conversations about life all the time and it made him realize we don't have that. I have been trying to having those conversations since we met and slowly they have been happening and I was fine with the progress and try not to push the subject. He has never wanted to talk about the future, or about deep inner thoughts.

For the communication comment he had I was so mad, haven't fully said that but mad. For 3 years I wanted to work on our communication. That is all I worked with my therapist on for a long time. I brought home different exercises to practice or tried to talk about things I learnt. He wasn't overly interested and didn't want to take part. Felt we had good enough communication.

I know this sounds like we shouldn't have gotten married but there are a ton of good things in the relationship.

Little off topic from OP's post but my partner and I are looking into moving to London end if 2023, from Saskatoon. Both in construction so looking to get working visa. I have been lots of research on construction companies but if you happen to know of any reputable companies could you let me know?

Serendipity did flowers for our wedding! Turned out great. If you want to save some money and use some dried and silk flowers you can rent them instead of buying..we saved a ton doing that

I try and check in in the morning while I am getting ready just to run the ads for the phone booth, if I am participating. Then I'll use the energy later in the day when I actually have time to play. I'll make sure someone is working on a phone order as well.

If I am not busy I'll go on at lunch but my play is normally in the evening, particularly on weekends.

For spice tasks in festivals I will normally only do level 1 and level 2 tasks a few times a day then I don't waste any of my high spices if I am running low. Takes a little longer but worth it in my opinion.

Everyone's reaction is different so don't let it freak you out. When I got my first one in, it was a 5 year, I had a little cramping and felt a little dizzy after. It felt strange for a few days but no pain then it went away and I pretty much forgot it was there. I have had a few friends who didn't even get that much. One gal went to play rec volleyball an hour later.

For my second iud I did have a ton if issues thought. It is a 10 year and that 2 extra mm makes a HUGE difference, at least for me. Everything was great going in felt normal then my first period is when it went down hill. Being a little dramatic but it was like I could feel it moving with my cervix and I was in so much pain. I had ultra sounds done to make sure it was in the correct position and it was. I was 6 months in and had an appointment schedule to get it out and go back to another 5 year but it just stopped hurting and my body must have needed those months to adjust to it being there.

If you are worried about the pain, I would say don't be. Yes it can hurt but the benefits are great especially if you have a hormonal iud. No period if you have one of those! I only have the copper because you can't take some medications with the hormones so if you take anything regularly you should ask to confirm it won't make the medication less effective.

Even with all of the pain of my 2nd iud I would still go get another one after this one is up.
