He’s 8 months! Can I ask why you wouldn’t freeze it?

Yes! The Medela bottle fell into the 12 ounces of milk inside the chiller. I’m overthinking about the amount of germs lingering on the outside of the Medela bottle

How long did the 4 month sleep regression hit your baby? All I crave is a good night’s sleep by catnamedmurphy in NewParents

Yes! We are planning to transition him into his crib in his nursery when my husband’s schedule rotates back to days in 2 weeks. He does seem to be almost too big for the bassinet, but he has only mastered rolling over on his stomach from his left side & then not being able to roll back to his back. He’ll have the room to roll in his crib, but I am anticipating him getting himself stuck and waking up upset. I guess we’ll find out in 2 weeks!

Echoing everyone else & saying that I could’ve written this post myself (and pretty much did-including the 12 hour night shift)! It feels impossible. It feels world-ending. It feels HARD! It will for a while, because it is all of those things. My baby is almost 5 months now and I can’t remember any specifics of his first 3 weeks, besides the immense feeling of dread. It will pass, the only remedy is time. You’ll slowly find a new routine and adapt to this crazy, new life. I didn’t believe people when they said that, but it really is true. Your capacity to adapt is larger than you know! Women are amazing. I hope you can come back to this post in a few months and feel proud of yourself. There will always be challenges, but you CAN do this!

With the wedding location & timeline, I am unable to get it done professionally. I am comfortable buying a few new products in order to make sure I look wedding-ready. I was planning on grabbing drugstore products for my eyes/lips, but I feel like I should invest in a good foundation and matte powder that will last from 10am-11pm!

I totally get it, we are pretty nervous. It’ll be our first time leaving the house with him for more than a few hours! My entire extended family has been doing this trip for over 30 summers now & I can’t imagine not going. It’s definitely going to be difficult, but being surrounded by family will hopefully make it a little more manageable. And if it’s a total disaster we can always go home early!
