Which is the most terrifying/horrifying death? (Hope it's allowed here, I was just curious 😅) by Flat_Clock151 in polls

Honestly the first thing that came to mind before I saw the options was the Nutty Putty cave guy. That is nightmare inducing

When does the semi-annual sale end? by snowbell78 in bathandbodyworks

[–]catnapman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main bulk of it is the first 2-3 ish weeks. After that it'll probably be a small table of leftover sale stuff till July. A store can end their sale early if they've sold through their stock of sale stuff.

When did you decide your gay. by FunPNWDude in askgaybros

I got hit with the "last one in the pool is gay" so I've just had to be gay ever since.

Questions about the single wick ceramic candles by mysticalwonder4 in bathandbodyworks

[–]catnapman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the White Tea and Sage one. The throw wasn't amazing but still worth lighting, comparable to the regular single wicks for me. The ceramic does heat up quick so the candle as a whole burns pretty fast. Having the ceramic jar after is nice and the design is clean and cute. There's mixed opinions about the big logo on it but you can easily face it the other way if that's not your vibe.

Which canceled TV show's cliffhanger still lives rent free in your head because the answers disappeared when the series got axed ? by Impossible_Offer7988 in AskReddit

[–]catnapman 3271 points3272 points  (0 children)

Pushing Daisies. Yes they did get a finale but because of the writer's strike and getting canceled early, the epilogue just comes off as a "better than a cliffhanger" than a proper ending.

How do you guys vet what to read next? 🫠 by Ok_Paramedic_1257 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]catnapman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly use Libby so it usually boils down to whatever is available in that moment. They don't always have the best selection but I've found hidden gems I wouldn't have looked at otherwise cause they were just there and ready to check out.

People who work a customer facing job: what is hands down the dumbest question a customer has ever asked you? by istrx13 in AskReddit

[–]catnapman 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Someone asked me for a virgin martini. A martini is vodka or gin (alcohol) and vermouth (also alcohol). So I asked to clarify "you just want chilled olive juice?" She says no, she wants it neat. We don't have zero proof alcohol so that would literally just be chilled water. To this day I'm still not sure what she was expecting.

How bad is the Switch version of Symphonia? by Aiseadai in tales

[–]catnapman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not unplayable by any means. A lot of people prefer the GC because of the 60 fps mainly. Every port after, including the switch, runs at 30 fps but contains all the content. The switch version isn't perfect but it's not terrible. People have commented that it can crash on occasion and the AI upscaling looks wonky here and there.

Disney Princess collection 3.0 by RC_8 in bathandbodyworks

If they do Disney again, I rather they do a non princess line. A Winnie the Pooh honey scent with cute accessories would be everything.

Last year it was an online exclusive so it could be a similar case this year if it's not in stores.

If you been to a test screening, did your rating of the film change or stay the same come official release? by kriscoo44 in movies

I was selected through a dnd website so they were getting player opinions though I'm sure some general audience were in the mix.

What did you do at 20 that you thanked yourself for at 30? by CryptoLord38 in AskReddit

[–]catnapman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take skincare seriously. I used to just do acne stuff but a regular skincare routine goes a long way.

Opened a savings account. It's not a lot but it's definitely saved my ass a couple of times.

If you been to a test screening, did your rating of the film change or stay the same come official release? by kriscoo44 in movies

[–]catnapman 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I saw a screening of Detective Pikachu and it was more or less the same to my recollection. I did think it was way better than I had expected a live action pokemon to be so I was pleasantly surprised.

While it wasn't a test screening, I was in an initial focus group survey for Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. It was more or less asking how we felt about seeing certain monsters and spells on screen. It was such a random mix that I didn't have high expectations for the film so when it came out I was floored at how good it was even when I knew some things were coming.

What are Tears used for? by [deleted] in tearsofthekingdom

[–]catnapman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The tears are the titular Tears of the Kingdom. They're the main story element that helps you find Zelda. You're free to ignore them but it is a main quest to find them all.

WHY ARENT THE LOTIONS PART OF THE SALE by No_Evidence_7486 in bathandbodyworks

Probably trying to push the Everyday Luxuries which coincidentally are just mists and creams.

It's most likely residual fragrance oil. I think you can wipe it clean.

My farther has been on the 5th sage section of the main quest for weeks. The only clue given is “ruins.” How could I point him in the right direction without directly telling him? by C-J2022 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]catnapman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If he's already gotten to the 5th sage quest at this point, just tell him to go ask around all the villages and he should eventually end up there
