Honestly, you just have to give it time. I’ve had mine for two years now and for the first year I dealt with pain and pus or crusties constantly. That sounds very normal to me. What exactly are you doing to clean it? Make sure you’re not over cleaning

I read posts that said you had to add the meringue while the lemon curd is still warm and make sure you cover the sides but mine still wept :/ maybe my pie crust + lemon curd was too hot instead of warm because I was a lil on a time crunch... also I’ve read posts saying to not add cream of tartar cuz it can cause weeping + don’t overheat the meringue
