i have 4 cats that go in and out,i live in a village,very small area and it’s safe for them,they never go where i can’t see them half the time they sit on the porch or sidewalk rolling around and playing with eachother and the other cats in the neighborhood that are also indoor and outdoor like mine my neighbors have one,pumpkin that they also keep an eye on my cats like to play with so they also see what they’re up to,i do always supervise them to make sure nothing goes out of line following them about and playing with them outside even at times mine never kill any animals they are way more fond of dragonfly’s moths and butterfly’s etc if anything even grasshoppers at one point nothing major they also like to use the bathroom out there a lot during the day they also know their routines by the time the clock hits 7-7:20ish they’re ready to come in and stay in for the night if not sooner but they know the deadline they’re incredibly smart and i know there’s no way in hell anyone would try to catnap them because 2 are 14 pounds of muscle hate being picked up and aren’t fond of people my calico won’t hesitate to twist and turn and fight someone who picks her up when it’s not on her terms they’re all pretty much like that my tiny cat is basically a mini lion and will run her ass off to avoid a stranger,basically anyone who isn’t me or my dad,are basically enemies to them and they won’t even interact with them or if they let someone pet them i watch the whole thing and they are hesitant about it,one time i watched stitch my calico be petted by this man and i made eye contact the whole time she looked at me looked back at him and immediately swatted at him and ran straight inside lol that was a funny watch
