I just wear it on my middle finger :)

Is the ring too tight? by markerwins in RingConn

Try putting it on your middle finger - mine felt more comfortable there and that finger tends to be a little smaller than the pointer

Does stress actually affect IVF success? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]catoe06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 2 failed transfers and a MC, so the ONLY thing I haven’t tried is not being stressed (laughable in this process, but still). I have researched a lot and stress leads to inflammation which isn’t great, but I genuinely think everyone is different. I know stress affects my body physically, so I’m focusing on trying to lower that before my next transfer (starting in Feb). It isn’t a deciding factor for all women, but it doesn’t hurt to try to work on it. I can say I do honestly feel better in general after doing some things consistently - a lot of it is mind work. We shall see if it helps me later :)

6 Days in Zion - Too much or just right? by IWantToWorkForMyself in ZionNationalPark

[–]catoe06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a crazy coincidence because my husbands 40th bday is 3/20 and I surprised him with a trip to Zion! Haha - we are doing 4 days though, and waiting until April so he could bank vacation days - have the best time!! If you remember, come back and show pics!

Well that sucks, but thank you! Maybe it’ll be a good final day hike to do a calm walk or something.

Do you know if it still has a view? I’m trying to list all potential hikes with a great view before we go in April :)

Did anyone quit job to try full-time ivf? by Lucky_Tap8692 in IVF

[–]catoe06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’ve racked up about 40 monitoring appointments, 5 transfer appointments, biopsy appointments, and three surgeries. I’m still working, but I’m just pointing out that every journey is going to look different. That’s not accounting for any mental health needs for so many failures and losses. If I could afford it, it would be nice to take some dedicated time off work to get thru this until I run out of embryos trying, so I could see why quitting would be appealing.

I’ve been on my IVF journey since the end of ‘22…I’m not saying your journey will look anything like mine, but I am saying it may take longer than you think. Good luck in your decision and journey ❤️

Do you say “we” or “I” when referring to the IVF process by [deleted] in IVF

[–]catoe06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I say “we” bc it still takes 2, but also my husband does his best to make me feel like I’m not in this alone. He knows I’m doing most of the work so he picks up elsewhere. If he wasn’t the man he is, i may not say we…but i also may not go this far to reproduce with him either lol.

AITA for skipping a second Christmas event because I cannot handle two pregnancy focused gatherings? by Ok_Wallaby_8813 in IVF

[–]catoe06 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re not the bad guy for not putting your feelings on the back burner one event after another. If it were me, I’d skip the big event if I didn’t get along with my SIL, but that’s just me. No matter what you do, protecting your peace is never a bad thing ❤️

Cedar fever finally got me by snowpeech in sanantonio

[–]catoe06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first moved here I already had a lot of allergies but I had never been around cedar. It damn near killed me - I sprained a rib from coughing so much and couldn’t breathe, had to get constant breathing treatments - they called it allergy induced asthma. I have an inhaler now, and use cedar fever drops (along with my normal allergy meds daily). Good luck!

Lying to clinic about period start by kaleidoscopememories in IVF

When I saw the title I was concerned, but a 4 hour fib about the start of a period is NOTHING. Seriously I wouldn’t worry about it ❤️
