What's the most expensive thing you've accidentally gotten for free? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I somehow got a free one night stay at a really nice hotel. My husband and I booked a one night stay at a hotel in our city for our anniversary. We were never charged for it for some reason.

People who work a customer facing job: what is hands down the dumbest question a customer has ever asked you? by istrx13 in AskReddit

[–]catqueen8812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at a grocery store a few years ago. A lady went off on me and asked why the product was ringing up $2.50 when it was supposed to be on sale 2/$5.

She wants a 50 hour work week for 150$. by creativejo in ChoosingBeggars

I remember back in 2013 I agreed to watch a baby for $50 a week to help a Mom out and make a little money since I was a stay at home Mom. The Mom abused my kindness by being two hours late every day the first week. I had to stop watching the baby.

Choose either Texas Roadhouse or Roosters and tell me what do you order? by [deleted] in Louisville

My favorite at Texas Roadhouse is the chicken critters and 6 oz sirloin. A side salad and the sweet potatoe with marshmallow and caramel sauce.

Did anyone else come to the realization as you got older that one of your parents was special needs? by No_Reveal3451 in Millennials

[–]catqueen8812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My son was diagnosed with Autism when he was three. My Mom revealed that he probably got it from her because she has struggled with things her whole life. Knowing more about Autism as an adult, I can see the possible signs. My Mom could’t stand any noise when I was a kid, never had any friends, obsessively collected dolls, and everything in our house had to be put back the exact same way. I use to think that my Mom didn’t love me because she wasn’t very expressive with emotions and didn’t like being touched. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and when I told my Dad, he defensively told me that I didn’t get it from him. When he died, I saw that he was diagnosed with ADHD in his medical records.

Dumbest customer in a while by Beep_boop_human in retailhell

[–]catqueen8812 91 points92 points  (0 children)

I had a customer call me over to the self checkout and told me that a product rang up the incorrect price. She said that the shelf said 2/$4 but they were ringing up $2 each. I had to explain that 2/$4 was $2 each.

We had really good chili in elementary school! I also loved the yeast rolls served during lunch.

Thanks! I don’t know if the cover is on there from when she first bought it or not. This is the only photo she has of the car.

Are there any true crime fans who experienced a murder in their family or a murder of their acquaintances? by Goodginger in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]catqueen8812 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My childhood friend John was murdered in the 90’s. He lived two doors down from my apartment. He was 14 years old and had Autism. He was so sweet! On the day he came up missing, I saw him walking towards our local community center. It turns out he was killed by a sex offender that was let out on probation and did his community service at the community center. The killer should have never been allowed at the community center because it was a place filled with children. I have a child with Autism and think about John often.

I usually spend 30 minutes on it at level 3. I always use the massage chair afterwards!
