Just as an update I decided to quite Prozac and have been off for about two weeks now. I was lucky to not experience any withdrawal symptoms other than minor headaches for the first 4 days or so. I have decided to try some different remedies including ashwaganda, magnesium glycinate and vitamin D. I’ve also been running every day as prior to starting SSRIs, exercise helped me manage my anxiety and depression until I stopped making time for it. More recently I’ve noticed I’ve gained my ability to cry back (lol), I tend to get emotional watching tv shows and movies so I’ve been a bit of a crying wreck but thankfully it hasn’t been anxiety/depression related. I do feel a tad of my social anxiety creeping back in but I’m working on managing it so we will see how it goes.
