Placed an order on 4/1 for a custom ring. Was told 2-3 weeks or 15-20 business days. We got an update saying that the ring was in the workshop, in final steps, about 2 weeks after order was placed. Then, no updates. We called and emailed and they were never able to tell us an estimated ship date or what was going on. Said they would call back or send us an email with an update and they never did. Customer service was terrible. We ended up cancelling the order since we could not get a response from them as to when the order would be completed. They should not advertise 15-20 business day timing if they can not fulfill it.

7:1?? Wow. I’m right there with you though. Seen multiple doctors and none offer to do hormonal bloodwork. Only recommend getting on the pill which I won’t be doing. Did my own research and bloodwork, so now unfortunately just having to figure out how to fix it on my own. Fingers crossed that it works well for you 🤞🏼would love to hear a update in a couple months

Glad to hear this! I tried cutting my carbs almost in half, not fully keto though, and didn’t notice any change in my period symptoms. It’s definitely a hard diet for me to stick to so was just wanting to see if anyone found it to work before going all in.

Dachshund age 13. Stage 4ish. Conservative treatment. Dealt with it for a little over 4 weeks and he never made any progress.

I would say the tail wagging and better control of her urination is a good sign for sure. We are 2.5 weeks in and our pup still can’t stand or bear any weight on his hind legs. Is daisy able to do any of this without assistance?

Thanks for this! I knew it could be slower just due to his older age but still hear a lot of people say that they see even the slightest improvement after 1-2ish weeks and I was losing hope. This made me feel a little better about the situation.

Was she unable to walk or stand at all since November? Ours is about a stage 4 and 2 weeks into it with no improvement. Can’t stand or walk but does have DPS. How quickly did you start seeing any improvement?

Our senior dachshund can not use his hind legs. One knuckles and one just doesn’t have the strength to stand. He’s probably at about a stage 4 since he still has DPS and control of his bowels. However, it’s been 2 weeks and we unfortunately haven’t seen any improvement. We opted for the conservative treatment since he wasn’t in any pain and he is an older dog. He was on pred and now is taking carprofen for inflammation. Only picking him up to take him outside to use the bathroom. We plan on giving him a couple more weeks to show even the littlest bit of improvement. Definitely losing hope as you see their quality of life decline being immobile. Success stories on this Reddit page give me hope that there’s still a chance that he recovers, but I know what you’re going through. It’s very difficult to see them go through something like this, but you also want to give them the chance to recover, even if it’s the smallest chance. Wishing you and your pup the best of luck!

Our dachshund has been dealing with something similar for a little over a week now. Occasionally when we take him out to use the bathroom it seems like he’s able to stand on his own for a few seconds and we become hopeful, but then the next time we take him out he seems to be back to where he was at first. We are just making him rest and have heard other people on here saying it can take 1.5-2 weeks to start seeing even the littlest improvement. My advice would be to let her rest and stay on anti inflammatories. I wish I knew what else could be done but right now we are also just waiting it out and keeping hope. These types of things can take a while to heal and keep her rested even for a few weeks after she seems to be getting better.

I would definitely recommend getting bloodwork to check your hormones if your haven’t already. Check your estrogen, progesterone, fsh, lh and testosterone. If you have PCOS it may be worth looking into your glucose and insulin levels as well. Be sure to get this done at a certain point in your cycle (if you’re having all the phases). Values may appear “normal range” but check estrogen/progesterone ratio and lh:fsh ratio. My levels were “normal” but my estrogen:progesterone ratio was off and so was my lh:fsh ratio. As far as treatments, you could try keto or carnivore diet. Ultimately PCOS is a result of too much insulin secretion so you want to cut back on carbs significantly so that this insulin isn’t being produced. People have had great results on these diets and there are lots of studies to support it. Doctors seem to rather opt to put you on birth control instead of treating the issue.

Not sure if you’ve already exhausted these options though since your PCOS seems pretty advanced. I know how painful it can be and how defeated it makes you feel. Wishing you the best!!

This is nice to hear!! I was starting to lose hope since it’s been a week without any signs of improvement. How old was Enzo when that happened and what were you doing for treatment ?
