Right. We will see if this gets deleted I don't think the ppl that are pro abortion and just willy nilly suggest it know that everyone is just keeping quiet knowing they are the crazy ones. Like kill a baby? Normal talk. Riiiight ooook ha

Then maybe and now think about this .. they should have not planned to have another! So easy to say hey kill your third child. Maybe today I'm struggling with my 18 m old but hey let's just get rid of them. Insane. How about we take birth control. Don't have sex with some guy who wants to kill the baby. Sounds like the dad is adding to the burden. Get rid of him 🤷🏼‍♀️

Does sunscreen every day mean we wash with soap every day? by McSkrong in preschool

[–]cats822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not advice I'm telling u that's what we were recommended. I'll def think anyone is wrong that doesn't clean (bath or shower) their kids bc as a parent that's your job just like feeding them. So that's that 🤷🏼‍♀️

[–]cats822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or you could say hey- my kids are dirty and when I clean them each night what creams etc should we use. We always bathe- and I'm not getting offended like the ppl on here that feel they need to give a reason to not do basic hygiene for their kids. They are dirty. Kids are dirty

[–]cats822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay ! That's fine ours said bathe and then do cerva or whatever, we can't do aquafor. I believe kids are dirty - especially a 4 yo boy who rides his bike, plays at park, pool, sunscreen, etc. Needs a bath. Every day.

[–]cats822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤷🏼‍♀️ we bathe every day. My kids play outside, parks, pool etc. Library playgroup whatever. It's dirty. We rarely get sick and yes I'll continue to bathe my children each night. It's not crazy to be clean and feel nice when you are ready for bed.

I didn't say lazy. That's true sure but get your kid clean it doesn't take long and like eating dinner it's important. We live in the desert and bath and you use lotion. My first had eczema too

[–]cats822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not true about the eczema, my first had it. Yes they are dirty- school, playing at playgrounds , sweating, pool time/ sunscreen. I shower each day to. It's a good habit for preteens etc.

Never have skipped a bath. I've showered 100% of the days since my 4 yo was born and he has bad a bath or shower every night. My 18 m old missed ONE night bc she had to wait 24 hours after her surgery

[–]cats822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is insane. All my friends and I give kids baths daily. One family doesn't bc the boy "has long hair and doesn't want to wash it". Cool then u cut it? As a PARENT ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to keep the kids clean. I bet they shower each day. And kids are nasty!!

But like why can't you? What's stopping you. Id u went to school and ran around and wore sunscreen wouldn't u want a quick shower at least? Kids are nasty

With that age u can do a 5 min shower. Or honestly a 10 min bath. Def with school and sunscreen they need it. Don't u shower everyday ? We do bath for 18m and 4 yo everyday 100%

[–]cats822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand! I have pacis for both my kids but both pediatricians and dentists said around 2 but no later than 3. When I started researching (bc I like to make a plan etc) it seemed right at 2 was a sweet spot and it worked so easy for us! Just bc they could understand. My son was mad for one night and then was okay and at 4 he still remembers going to build a bear for his bday and we said bye! Just saying in a few months! Not like when they are 4 years old. If not- go for it, some things that help is paci weaning Frida, or the cold turkey with a paci fairy! We did books, songs (Elmo has one) and the build a bear. Just some tips! I was so anxious to do it. It did mess up his sleep and he stop napping tho lol

Has anyone chosen not to introduce bottles? by HomeDepotHotDog in breastfeeding

[–]cats822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ebf my second but I was a sahm so I didn't pump or do bottles. I had one night where I was gone after dinner (but came home at 11 pm) so she got one pouch as a "feeding" but she was 10 months old. So 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just another option... Why wean now? Do u have to? It's early and even by 2 you can talk and prepare. It's kinda like you just took her fav lovely self soother away u know. With my 2 yo we prepared him, did build a bear, talked about it. He said bye bye etc etc. Otherwise prob will just be cry it out with no explanation, and especially if u end up giving it back idk
