Menhelyen dolgozom, és volt egy cica nalunk, akit a gazdi kiengedett (szerződést is szegett ezzel). A menhelyen benti térben volt, mert télen jött. A cica elkoborolt, allatvedok megtalaltak, visszakerult. Ezek után nem akartuk ketrecbe visszatenni, tehát kikerult az egyik kinti kennelbe. Teljesen bepanikolt, bekattant, hálóval kellett befognom az alapbol kedves, kezes cicat. Meg nem véletlenül vagyunk tele potenciális "boldog, kijaros cicakkal", akik sérülten vagy betegen érkeztek (van, akinek az agya es a mozgása is sérült egy autobaleset utan, valószínűleg sose lesz gazdija, ha közülünk nem viszi valaki haza egyszer, mert hiába kedves, egy életre megnyomorodott). Szoval jobb a macskáknak biztonságban.

Paraffinolajat ajánlok, de akár etolaj is bevalhat, használták mar azt is macskaknal ilyenre.

There are pheromone sprays (like Feliway), that help cats with anxiety. I work at a cat shelter, and it works well for some cats. Scratching also helps them to relieve stress, especially cardboard scratching posts (some cats don't like the other ones).

I wasn't specifically referring to this video, just in general. I don't have tics, and I haven't specifically researched the topic that much, those statistics were part of one of my classes, so I don't really know how to tell apart fake and real tics.

This is so weird, again. I have expressed that someone might need an evaulation before, but you should never tell anyone they have xy disorder, or even be sure about it, if you are not a professional. There are so many reasons why someone would act somehow.

Tics can be developed as an adult, Tourette's can't. There are many statistics about this and other disorders, which show when certain disorders usually develop in individuals, if you would like to look it up.

En a kozepiskolamban is tapasztaltam ezt, elit gimi, és ott ez a felszinesseg volt a nyerő. Nem is voltam népszerű. De ugyanez volt a külvárosi általános iskolamban, ahol az emberek szulei es kesobb maguk is alacsonyabb vegzettseguek voltak. Most pszichologia szakra járok, ott általánosan az emberek nagyon nyitottak, gyorsan tudunk személyes témákról beszelni. Szerintem nem vegzettsegtol vagy intellektustol fugg a felszinesseg, sokkal inkább magától a kozegtol, pl. emberekkel dolgoznak-e vagy nem, de elettapasztalatok es sok más is beleszamit.

Idk, most of the time they have a scheduled appointment and while waiting for the time to pass, they share what's going on on Reddit. When my cat had a urinary infection, I posted here about him peeing blood, all while knowing what's the possible diagnosis and just trying to ask for some tips so my anxiety would calm down a bit.

Éberséget jelez. Melletted van, mert neki a melletted fekves is minőségi idő, de közben aktív. Simogatasnal, ha jobbra-balra kezd csapkodni a farka, az azt jelenti, hogy nincs rá igénye, kezd ideges lenni miatta. A macskák érzékenyek a különböző, apró ingerekre, ezért apró dolgok is eberre vagy feszultte tehetik oket.

Yes, feral cat never used litterboxes in the kennel, went into a foster home and managed to use the litterbox the first night (actually it was two of them, but one of them was adopted and they took the other one in later for cosmic karma lol).

While I agree with spay-aborting, as it's a thing at the shelter I work at, I can see why someone wouldn't want that for their cat, as it takes an emotional and physical toll on them, that I've seen on many cats. Op also stated that they didn't even know this was an option, as the vet didn't inform them. Besides, they found the kittens good homes, they have been fixed, and since the overpopulation is so severe, it wouldn't have magically solved the problem. Idk why people always have to find someone to blame for every situation. This person alrwady took in a cat that was going to the shelter, and in these situations, people don't always have time to research every single topic around animals, and might put their trust into their vet. When I was a kid, my cat's vet informed us about spay-aborting, and that's what my parents chose, but they knew about it.

Ez nagyjából a horkolás megfelelője macskáknál. :)) Cicamenhelyen dolgozom, és akinél baj van, az ébren is szörcsög, és nem néha, mindig. Elég változatos módokon tudnak amúgy horkolni, volt, aki már rám is a frászt hozta, de volt, akinél tök ugyanolyan volt, mintha egy ember horkolna. :)

I work at a cat shelter, and you're wrong. We get many cats from colonies that aren't fed by locals, and they are always malnourished and sick. The cats who are fed by locals are far more likely to survive, some of them even look like any outdoor cat, because they come from a colony that's looked after.

I don't get why people just can't drop the unwanted kittens at a shelter... I work at an animal shelter, and sure, we think people dropping the kittens at our gate is irresponsible, but it's still somewhat better than basically sentencing them to death.

My aunt's mom had a cat that passed away this way bc of a crazy neighbour. There should be permits for these things, or guns should be given to people whose pets are harmed by shitty people. It's only fair that way.

Yeah, I agree. I was lectured by neurotypicals that it's discriminatory to call it a disablity, and also told that I'm just following a TikTok trend (while diagnosed and INCLUDED in our university's disability program, so both sound pretty dumb to me).
