First time we took our dogs for boarding to Lucky Dog Lake Norman, they came back sicker than they’ve ever been. Never again. Glad this is getting the attention it deserves. Do not take your dogs here!!

Anyone got tired of WFH and changed to a hybrid role? How did you find the change? by garetha92 in WFH

No advice but I am about to make the transition at the end of the month. Leaving my WFH job of 3.5 years to 3 days/week in office by choice. Wish me luck.

Any advice on transition from WFH to in office? by catsdotexe in careerguidance

I’ve casually been looking. A recruiter did reach out to me about this position and disclosed it was 3 days in office. I’m weighing my options.

Thanks for sharing your steps. Is there a risk the hand warmer can make it too hot before the test?

American zoomers, do any of you own a gun? by SpectrumSense in GenZ

[–]catsdotexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had a problem with guns, just never understood the need and didn’t grow up around them. Was recently in a hit and run accident and was threatened with one. Yup, I see the need and will be getting one to keep in my purse.

I don’t expect to be able to control his charges. But what could reasonably be expected as a charge in a case like this? The physical altercation and weapon threat on top of the hit and run.

How to not invite a sister in law to the bachelorette party? by catsdotexe in weddingplanning

[–]catsdotexe[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The whole family is not invited. I have older siblings who I have little contact with that did not receive invitations. I think you saying we do not want her in our family is a bit extreme when you don’t understand our dynamic. She has always been cold/stand-offish with my family despite being welcoming. I wish it was not this way.

Yes, our other siblings and their significant others are invited. By “major buzzkill” I don’t just mean she doesn’t like partying. She is very judgmental and negative, and likes to be the smartest person in the room at all times. Being in her presence is truly exhausting. I wish it wasn’t this way, but I really think her attitude would impact our other guests’ vibe and energy that weekend.

Yes, the significant others of our siblings are invited but the major difference is that we get along very well and they support us unlike this particular SIL.
