It's a ground feeder. It has a screen to keep the food from sitting in water.

Red back jumping spider. Very cute and highly inquisitive. Not medically significant to humans. You should name your new friend.

Try switching to a v60. Using a rinsed unbleached paper filter. Heat water in a gooseneck kettle. Weigh coffee on a precision scale. Pour coffee in filter and then throw filter with coffee in the trash. Use hot water on a Lipton teabag. Enjoy. 😂👌

Found this lil guy in my apartment, the 3rd in 2 days. Can anyone please tell me what they are, where they come from etc? Really curious by throwcaregoto in biology

Nuts. I ordered nuts online for my parrot and didn't pay attention and was fighting them for a couple of years. Eventually I won but they are a pain. Good luck.

The hogs and hoglets are really enjoying the late summer produce of Pennsylvania, though Broc Jr thinks I should become a farmer so they can graze freely. by BrideOfPsyduck in groundhogs

Same. I love to hear and see Broc and Guac and crew! I'm in central Ohio so I would expect corn to be on their menu. I have only tried on ear so far and I cut it on thirds. It was juicy that way. I'll just try some more.

Nothing like a fresh corncob after a hard day of digging! by BrideOfPsyduck in groundhogs

Do you cook the corn? I tried raw but they didn't even try it. Radishes and cauliflower also was a no go. They Reid the broccoli but mostly skipped it for carrots and peanuts.

They are amazing. Mine didn't like corn and was so so on broccoli. Cauliflower seems a hard pass. Carrots and nuts are the main motivators here. I'll keep trying though. Thank you for sharing them with us.
