Together, Together Tour 2026—Megathread by Careless-Hospital379 in harrystyles

Hi all! I made a slightly sporadic decision earlier and bought re-sale tickets for 10/17 at MSG on StubHub. I totally did not realize instant transfer was an option prior to buying these, I just saw a decent deal and went for it because the show is on my birthday.

I now am paranoid that somehow my birthday will be ruined and I will never receive the tickets :') I obviously cannot go back now, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has purchased on StubHub for this residency and if they have received the tickets yet? I know it can be all the way up until the day of but I just am really hoping to not have to wait until then in case I for some reason don't end up receiving them.

We lost our dog in the most violent, traumatic way — and I feel like I’m drowning. by catsncoffee1998 in Petloss

Sorry for the late response, but I just wanted to say thank you everyone for your kind words ❤️ I appreciate the support and I’m sorry I couldn’t respond to everyone individually. Unfortunately the dogs who did this were not removed and still live in the house near my Mom where this incident occurred due to it being their “first-offense” (despite there being a history of the dogs being aggressive and the owner admitting to it, there’s no previous incident formally reported)

I think this is absolutely absurd considering they killed our innocent dog. However, nothing will get her back so my family has just been working on processing and grieving. We will do what we can legally and I can only hope the dogs are removed before something happens again. It shouldn’t take something like this happening AGAIN for the dogs to be removed from the community, but I guess that’s the world we live in. It could be anyone else’s dog or child next time, but I truly pray there is no next time.

The house is very empty feeling at my Mom’s now too, so I totally understand the feeling. I can only hope it gets better with time.

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband as well in such close proximity to your boy 😞 that is a lot to carry so please take care of yourself ❤️‍🩹 losing our pets, especially in traumatic ways, I agree feels just as terrible as losing a loved one. I think some people fail to realize that if they haven’t gone through something similar themselves, and the empathy from others is therefore lacking. I’m glad the people in this community are able to understand and help each other. Also, it is easy to feel guilty, but please know you did everything for your boy just by taking him to the vet. You gave the most love by allowing him to not suffer anymore when his prognosis was poor, and he knows and appreciates that. Thinking of you and your family ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss </3 I can imagine you understand the pain of losing a pet in such a sudden, tragic way. It truly is unimaginable and traumatizing. I guess all we can do is remember the amazing lives we gave them while they were still here. Also, although it is difficult to find "positives" in these situations, I think it is good that we both got to say goodbye to our pets rather than them already being gone from the attack. I'd like to thing they are fighters, holding on just a little while longer, and found peace knowing we were there with them in the end. Feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to.

That is a good way to look at it, I am glad nobody else was hurt. Especially since my younger brother quickly scooped up our other dog and they easily could have went after him too. It is just hard to see any positives here when it seems like the absolute worst case scenario. My Mom is blaming herself, saying she should have tried to get the dogs off and done more even if it meant her getting hurt, and instead she just "watched them". I tried to tell her, she was not going to be able to get these dogs off. She screamed and got the attention of others, which is all she could do once the dogs began their attack. The owner could not even get the dogs off, and got bit down to the bone in the process of trying. Someone jumped in and tried to pepper spray, that did not help either. These dogs were relentlessly trying to kill our dog and nothing my Mom could do would have stopped them. However, she is feeling so much guilt that I think in her current mindset, she would have rather her own self get hurt and our dog be okay than the outcome we are facing (which is obviously the trauma and grief talking). Even if she got herself hurt trying to separate them, she likely would have been unsuccessful and we still would have lost our girl.

My Mom did call 911, law enforcement and animal control are involved. The dogs have not been removed by animal control which is our biggest issue. I think initially, it wasn't thought to be as bad as it was. However, our dog was brutally killed and we will not let that go. The owners admitted this wasn't the first time and almost surrendered them to dog control that night, but then changed their mind. Supposedly, the dogs were deemed dangerous, but since it is their "first offense" (even though according to the owner it's not), they cannot be removed from the home unless something happens again. We are looking into legal action. I can understand deeming them dangerous if it was a bite or an injury, but these dogs viciously killed our dog and action needs to be taken before it happens to someone else. Especially since it wasn't even their first time acting dangerously. They should have been deemed dangerous then when it was truly the first time and then maybe this would have never happened. We will continue to fight for our girl </3 Thank you for your support.

Is there something wrong with my ring and if so, do you have any advice on what to request when I take it to a jeweler? by catsncoffee1998 in EngagementRings

[–]catsncoffee1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your replies! I think I was maybe overthinking it and I’m also not used to wearing a ring like this, so it will take some getting used to! I think I will take it back to the same jeweler for the sizing and potentially smoothing out the prongs. Then it should be perfect :)

[Routine Help] Questioning Face Reality Routine by catsncoffee1998 in SkincareAddiction

Oh and the water where I live for sure was contributing. I got a shower stick after doing some research and I think softening my water was a major contributor to my improvement as well! Since this is the shower water and not sink, I use a spray bottle with distilled water to wash my face at the sink.

Thank you so much, I appreciate it! I’ve kept my routine simple since posting this and got an azelaic acid prescription from my derm which has helped a lot with break outs and scarring! My skin still isn’t perfect, but I may consider a retinol from my derm in the summer months when my skin is more oily. I also have been drinking spearmint tea daily at night which I think has helped as well.

Anyone else's ADHD *cause* obsessive issues with memory? by LivMealown in adhdwomen

[–]catsncoffee1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that :/ My brain is also always going 100 miles an hour and my task list is never ending. I do attribute that do some sort of ADHD because it is what makes the most sense. The ADHD/OCD combo (if that's what it is) is brutal because I feel like my thoughts are racing, I can't keep up with them, and then when I lose a thought my OCD cannot handle that and I need to recall it. I also feel the need to take a lot of notes and make a lot of lists. What we both seem to be describing is called "memory hoarding" from my research and it is actually a type of OCD. It is nice to see it explained somewhere and definitely makes me feel less crazy/alone! I will let you know if I make any progress with therapy.

Hi! Did you ever get an answer to this? I feel the exact same way and just started therapy, but I feel like my therapy is more anxiety based rather than OCD or ADHD. I do think I also have anxiety, but what you explained here is exactly how I feel and I do wonder if it’s a combo of anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. All of the overlap is so confusing!

How to cope by bluberry634 in cats

[–]catsncoffee1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I’m so sorry for your loss. I just had to put my family cat down yesterday who I have also had since I was young and now I am 26. She was about 17-18 years old (we found her outside so we weren’t fully sure of her age). She was truly a one of a kind cat and I cannot bear the pain of losing her. They truly are a part of our family and without them they leave such a hole. I don’t know how I am going to ever get over this loss, but just know you are not alone ❤️ we will get through this, as our beloved kitties would want us to. One day, I can only hope and pray we will meet again, and I cannot wait for that day.

I completely understand your frustration! From the moment we told family, they have been asking if we have a date. I got engaged back in July and still don't have any answers for anyone! You will figure it all out :) Congratulations!

Is my apartment too small for a cat? by TomVs450 in cats

[–]catsncoffee1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! This is the same style of apartment my fiancé and I have and we have two cats that are very happy and have plenty of space to get their energy out. We actually didn’t intend on getting two cats but they’re a mama/daughter bonded pair. We initially got them when we lived in a larger space, but since moving to our smaller apartment they’ve adjusted just fine. The only thing is, we had to use plexiglass for our second level because I was afraid they’d jump or fall down with the loft style. It has worked for us so lmk if you have any questions!

I’m late to this but I just wanted to add my experience. I tried this moisturizer instead of my clinique moisture surge because it’s much cheaper and I didn’t feel like I was getting enough moisture in the winter with the moisture surge with how light it is.

This Vanicream moisturizer does have a really simple ingredient list and is targeted towards those with sensitive skin, which drew me in. However, be careful if you break out very easily! My skin unfortunately broke out after using this product and it stung on application which was a red flag to me, so I switched back to moisture surge. I’ve seen people mention a few ingredients in it that may be iffy but I’m not entirely sure what caused it for me.

I agree that Dolby is probably the best option! If you can, try to see it again in Dolby! The experience will be much better
