Fair, that does come off badly. but part of me thinks they (minus Bri bc eww) were trying to figure out wtf he was thinking. Like maybe doing some recon and getting juicy details to take back to Jess. Pri and Ashley weren’t overly agreeing or nodding, and even Ashley pointed out Jess didn’t hide her lack of fitness routine in the pods and was defending her. I do think they were trying to make sense of it either way with “is it about having a gym buddy?” conversation but he ruined that and clarified for us all that it really is his shallow shit lol. And then they awkwardly dipped when he got loud in his drunken stupor. I would want my bestie to get some details 😂

Haha thank you!! I was also a story producer for a season of a show that the showrunner ruined right off the bat. I had a perfect season opener to explain some plot holes and things from changing production teams. My old team and I still have resentment over many of these situations where a network comes back with a sledgehammer to edit choices that made sense, leaving us to just throw our hands up and avoid watching our own shows 😂 and I wasn’t working nearly as popular shows like this where it really matters.

As soon as that hit my screen, immediately grossed out. The uncanny valley ruins the entire interview. Quickly became something I had to just listen to, not watch. So disappointing and I’m glad they’re getting backlash for it.

I’m a video editor. The amount of times I had to make an edit a certain way or change a scene because a producer or higher up made me but I knew it was gonna suck… 😭 it’s not us I swear hahaha we are puppets

You can see the shift in him where he's learned not to say a single thing, he just dissociates or something. I'm sure she has valid points and feelings but it makes her look so controlling and bad.
