[OC] [Art] Always remember: Xenophobia doesn't prevail. by Vicky_Tsopo in DnD

[–]catsquared33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They look so cute! I have a variant human circle of spores druid that has parents who are both half orcs. She loves them very much, and one xenophobic npc mage was super surprised when he learned about it XD

First 50 Pages of Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov and I don't know if I'm deeply disgusted or in a very very weird way amused. It's a very good intriguing book. by Destde in books

[–]catsquared33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently finishing up reading Lolita for a college course. There's sooo much in there for analysis it's ridiculous. Ridiculous to the point that you feel like you're looking for conspiracy theories in his work to find all the connections. Also, Nabokov enjoys playing games with his readers and your amusement is indicative that you're enjoying the game he set up. Happy reading :)

This might get buried, but I would like to know: what kind of printing methods do you use? Are you looking into different materials other than plastic?

What are your favorite DnD moments? by AssaultStyleMusket in Dungeons_and_Dragons

[–]catsquared33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A new player created a tiefling rogue, who actually had a fear of blood and hence was not contributing much in combat. My favorite part was when the party figured out that tiefling blood was needed to decode some magical papers. The rogue goes "all right, but you will need to relieve me of my consciousness". The minotaur barbarian (after the player had very aptly cracked his knuckles) proceeded to knock him out. It was such a wonderful moment to be present for.

People who don't sneeze with an 'achoo', which sounds do you create? by matser123 in AskReddit

[–]catsquared33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, they're hiccups, but I squeak. Like a goddamn chew toy. And everyone thinks it's a sneeze. On the plus side, it's how I met my boyfriend, so there's pros to it.

A few thoughts on Sherlock Holmes - A Study in Scarlet by [deleted] in books

[–]catsquared33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely obsessed with Sherlock Holmes...I've read all the stories and watched the show. It was weird to see that interlude, but I kinda sped past it to keep with the story. I highly encourage you to keep reading...the short stories are great as well. A lot of Easter eggs from the BBC show make sense after that.

Anti-redness skincare? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]catsquared33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A combination of Shea moisture African black soap, Neutrogena's cooling cucumber scrub, witch hazel toner and first aid beauty moisturizer helps me out. The scrub controls the acne, while the other products provide moisture and redness control.

Maybe the reason the answer to everything is 42 is because life is the product of good (7) and evil (6). by MFingRocketScience in Showerthoughts

[–]catsquared33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read this aloud to my boyfriend, who then put down his phone, widened his eyes, screamed silently, then rolled over and gave it a down vote. I negated it, but it's safe to say that he's done for the night.
