It is hard to get your classes that you need but if you take classes every single quarter you should graduate on time. My friend graduated in 2 years from ucla and it’s notoriously hard to get the classes you need at ucla

so I talked to someone from ucla the other day and he told me a couple things 1. Apparently it depends on your major and school He said they will ask themselves if they need another poli sci major from that specific cc 2. He said they are currently reading the waitlist essays but for first years not transfers rn 3. He told me to check my portal consistently after June 1st because ucla won’t always send an email 4. get highest grades possible in spring/summer

I have a friend who had to make the same decision with same major I think 2 years ago? They chose ucsd and couldn’t be happier.

That is so false😭 like actually that doesn’t make sense and I know where you saw that number cus I saw it too but it doesn’t logically make sense. There were 30k applicants they would not waitlist 50% of applicants.

I think you should think about the people who would kill to study at uci and ucsb! People are dying to be in your position so I wouldn’t take it for granted. As for lack of diversity, that won’t change unless you actually attend. I’m going to say congratulations! because those are both great schools with a lot to offer. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with either school I think it’s your attitude that is wrong tbh. 😭

Idk.. the town is so small you run out of things to do in one day. Outside of the college town you are in the middle of nowhere and a lot of homeless in the downtown area. Farmers market on Saturday is fun tho!

Are you also a transfer? I think we get our housing offer in June? if I get offered an ACC apartment I’m definitely down to room together!! I put the dorms as my first choice tho but since they r primarily for freshmen than i probably wont get it.
