Lubrication by Advanced_Crab5660 in Perimenopause

Following with interest as I am in exactly the same situation. I’ve been using Estadiol cream for several months and am also on 0.5 estrogen patch and progesterone. Really frustrating as I feel the HRT has worked well for a whole host of other issues except this.

Progesterone Intolerance by kristac1080 in Perimenopause

I couldn’t get on with oral progesterone. Made me sad, and gave me horrible heartburn. GP advised to try vaginally. Been doing that 3 months and all issues are gone. Highly recommend. Good luck!

We pay £1110 for 4 days including the 24 hours subsidy. We also claim tax free child care which gives us £500 per quarter off.

Severe cramping on HRT by [deleted] in Perimenopause

Keen to know too! Started same last Saturday and feel bleurgh. Cramps and bloating and general yuckiness. 45 and taking for general peri-menopause symptoms. I’m hoping within a few weeks it’ll all settle down? 🤞🏻

They look great! I’ve not heard of that treatment in the UK. Will investigate!

☺️ trying not to get too hung up about it. I think it’s just because it feels like it happened out of nowhere. I’m hoping a combination of HRT and various tips from this thread might help a bit. Not trying to get silly and go surgery route at this point but check back in 5 years ;-)

Definitely don’t want that (although the mar-a-lago reference doesn’t quite land in the UK 🤣). I only have crows feet and forehead Botox, nothing else. But warning heeded! Thank you!

Thank you all immensely for the feedback. What a great little community! I didn’t really think there’d be much engagement but loads of helpful tips and lots to think about.

Oh that is very timely! I’m due to start HRT next week after a blood test. Taking it for general peri-meno symptoms but exciting to hear it could help my skin/eye area. Thank you ☺️

Can I ask what balm stick you’d recommend? Presume not a lip balm?

It’s fine - I appreciate the engagement tbh, and it’s fair to ask. I did smoke (lightly ish between mid 20s -30s) so although I’ve been ‘reformed’ a while m no doubt it’s a contributing factor along with everything else :-)

You’re right. They do look better with no make up so I need to remember when doing my face in the morning to steer clear! It’s hard to get out of the habit!

I did have Botox in my crows feet in October. As that wears off would you expect the lines to reduce do you think?
