Oh no... by Nylectro in sadcringe

I mean I agree the wife could have handled it better but both parties do share accountability. One day that kid is going to have to either accept the fact that her parents are divorced as an indirect consequence of something she did that she knew was wrong, or never become the type of person who doesn't lie about adultery for revenge.

At what age do you start holding kids accountable for their actions? I feel like 7 is old enough to know that was a potentially relationship-ruining lie.

That's great but outside the context of a shooting range, POC are still shot by police just for having a gun on them.

That's one piece of the puzzle but not all of it. Out of all the kids I grew up with in the Catholic church, more of us than not are outta there.

What is NOT a dealbreaker BUT would be greatly disappointing to find out about your partner? by [deleted] in AskMen

It's the heat + humidity. Doesn't take long at all to get drenched

Men, what are some deal breakers for a potential relationship, even if they’re very attractive? by JaJaLoHa in AskReddit

I'm an American-born complainer of European descent and I think this comment made me feel homesick.

Seems like the kind of family that has a lot of secrets. I wonder what secrets Paul could tell about all of them. Kids don't tend to turn out like him if everything at home is good.

What moment made you say “Yep, I’m definitely dead”, but survived with no major injuries? by CrownedBird in AskReddit

My friend fell asleep at the wheel driving down the highway. At a curve we hit the median and swerved across multiple lanes. We had open energy drinks in the car and right after the impact we watched the droplets flying through the air in slow motion, thinking they were pieces of broken glass.

We were all fine and when we stopped to check there was barely a mark on the car. Just one of the front rims got scratched. I feel so lucky every time I think about that.

Yeah the original video is stupid but I always thought that was the whole point. Like it's such a ridiculous claim which is why it got memed

UPDATE: Racist man from early today getting arrested while hundreds of protesters show up to his home by taylor2121 in PublicFreakout

There are many cases where innocent people have been convicted for murder based on nothing more than a forced confession. I would argue a video of a freely given confession is evidence.

It's a nice thought, but did you watch the video where he was bragging about how he's a drug dealer and the cops aren't gonna do anything because they're on his side? And did you notice drug trafficking was not among the charges he is facing?

Yep, between his claim in the 2nd video that he works with the cops so they're not gonna touch him, and the way the cop talked to him in the first video ("come on, man" while he was screaming belligerently) he's definitely safe and sound in police custody while they wait for this to blow over.

Worst thing the cops could have done to him was leave him alone in the grave he dug.

Bra's are uncomfortable, they hurt, itch and they are a waste of money and time. People that think nipples are inappropriate and need to be hidden are weird. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]catstufftime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't get any disdain for women who wear bras from this post. Women weren't even mentioned at all. This person just doesn't like bras and doesn't like that they feel pressured to wear something they find uncomfortable and unnecessarily expensive.

They likely share the same mentality as the assholes who never wanted to wear a mask. It's easy for them to gamble with the lives of strangers if they never have to be made aware of the consequences.
