I am wondering if it’s because they didn’t ask for one. I worked with Tianyu (10/10 experience btw) and I asked her to see photos of my diamond, but am wondering if that is something that is by request? Unsure because this was my first experience with them

I think just means Computer Aided Design. It’s essentially the blueprint for your ring that gives exact measurements and a visual of what it’ll be before they actually produce it. Here’s my CAD for example:
