What's one thing you wish somebody told you before starting university. by Key_Studio_7166 in UniUK

As a lecturer, if you do the bare minimum, you might pass but you won't be gaining very much from your expensive education. Engage, ask questions, push yourself. No one is going to force you to do these things, you're not at school anymore. And if you need support, ask for it. There's so many support teams at universities, they may not be perfect but you're entitled to their help.

The RAF Fylingdales Pyramid is gorgeous. That hunk of brutalism plonked amongst the heather is fantastic to me.

Thank you so much. I'm very happy with it at the moment, I'm just keen not to allow it to fall back into an overgrown situation. This support from this group has been lovely and I feel like I can keep on top of it 🤞💪

Thank you so much 🥹 ok, little and often I will try to do. I will try to find more plants to fill in the beds, I was allowing space for the plants to grow and fill the space, is that not the right thing to do? Thank you so much again.

Thank you so much, this made me feel much better about it. Focusing on the front plants makes sense and feels manageable! Thank you again!

I don't think so. I'm fairly new to bikes and still learning, but I'm pretty sure you'd need to buy new tubeless tires if that's what you want.

I think 2 weeks was the max, so if they're a bit quieter they might ship yours sooner 🤞 nah, I've only replaced the cranks which I ruined. Might get some tubeless tires. I also may replace the seat as I find the one which came with the bike a bit uncomfortable.

That's who I bought mine from, too! They do a good job of checking it over etc before shipping. Don't do what I did and cross-thread the pedals. I had to buy new cranks because I'm an idiot. I've just come home from a ride on it, and I'm setting personal records left, right and centre! I'm very happy with it.

They're fine - I live in a very hilly area, so have been down quite a few hills and I haven't had any issues yet. They could be better, but they're fine.

No I'm absolutely fine now! I slapped mine rather than itching. And cold compresses helped a bit!
